"Would you let go of me?" Katsuki asked with a heavy sigh.
"Will you forget what I just said?" Izuku asked, tightening his arms around the large man that he'd just foolishly admitted to being in love with, because apparently, he was incredibly stupid.
Katsuki stilled. "Did you mean it?"
Izuku froze. "Why do you ask?"
Katsuki sighed, trying to step back, but all he managed to do was to pull Izuku away from the hot water since he refused to let him go.
"Are you going to let me go?"
"Not until you answer me," he said, tightening his hold as he buried his face against Katsuki's chest in an attempt to save himself from further humiliation.
Katsuki sighed heavily as he leaned down and kissed the top of Izuku's head again, which Izuku decided to take as a good sign that he hadn't just scared Katsuki off.
"I'm not in love with you, Tink, and I can't make myself say those words to make you feel better," Katsuki said softly, trying to soften the words with another kiss as Izuku stood there, feeling like his heart was shattering into a million pieces.
It surprised him how much hearing that Katsuki didn't love him actually hurt.
He hadn't realized just how much he'd come to care about the man until recently.
Of course, the first clue should have been the fact that he'd been willing to ask for the time off, risk killing his credit card and using up the small savings he'd been able to put away over the past couple of months.
He'd been working so hard to clear the debt he'd been stuck with and this trip was going to set him back a bit.
He hadn't wanted to do it, but he'd wanted to be there with Katsuki.
Of course, he also didn't want to stand there, naked in the shower, mortified beyond words and trying to hide against Katsuki's chest after he'd somehow confessed something that he was still getting used to either.
How Izuku wished that he could turn and walk away with some dignity... and clothes.
Yeah, clothes and dignity would be really nice right about now.
"I am however," Katsuki said, pausing to kiss the top of Izuku's head as he stood there trying to figure a way out of this, "going to keep you."
"Keep me?" he asked, tilting his head slightly to the side so that he could look up at Katsuki with a frown of disgust, "Like a puppy?"
Grinning, Katsuki leaned down and kissed the tip of his nose.
"More like my own personal fairy," he teased.
Glaring, Izuku opened his mouth to tell Katsuki that he wasn't a freaking fairy when the man cut him off with another kiss on the tip of his nose and continued.
"I'm not in love with you," the man said, apparently deciding that repeating that fun fact was the best way to continue this conversation, "but I am planning on spending the rest of my life with you, Deku."
"Wait. What?" Izuku said, blinking up at his taller boyfriend, sure that somewhere in there, Katsuki had said something that had made sense.
"I might not be in love with you, Tinkerbelle, but I do know that I want to spend the rest of my life with you," Katsuki said, smiling down at him.
"You are the best part of my day, Tink. You make me feel whole and happy and when I'm not with you, I'm thinking about you. I'm not in love with you, but I know that I can't live without you."
Izuku opened his mouth to... well, he wasn't sure what he was about to say, because at the moment, he was having a difficult time in trying to figure out what Katsuki had just said.
Katsuki didn't love him, but the man felt the same exact way about him that he felt about him.
The only difference?
Izuku knew that it was love.
And he knew that Katsuki loves him.
Smiling, he dropped his arms away and stepped back only to release an embarrassingly high squeal when Katsuki grabbed him, turned him around and pushed him up against the wall.
"Now, while I've got your attention, why don't I tell you about my tactical plan?"
*****
"Tactical plan?" Izuku asked, trying to turn around, but Katsuki stopped him with a hand and a kiss to his shoulder.
"Mmhm," Katsuki murmured, kissing Izuku's nape as he ran his fingertips down his arms.
When he reached Izuku's hands, he wrapped his hands around his, raised them and pressed them against the wall above Izuku's head.
"What exactly is this game plan for?" his Tinkerbelle asked, licking his lips anxiously as he looked over his shoulder.
Katsuki leaned down and kissed him. "For you."
"For me?" his boy asked against his lips.
"For you," Katsuki said with a nod as he pulled away just far enough so that he could kiss Izuku's chin.
"Are you going to tell me about this plan of yours?" Izuku asked, sounding a little breathless as Katsuki kissed his way across his jaw.
"In detail," he promised as he kissed his way down to the boy's shoulder. "The first part of my plan is very simple."
"Oh, and what is it?" he asked, closing his eyes and licking his lips as Katsuki traced the tips of his fingers back down his arms.
"Well, first," he said, pausing long enough to lick a drop of water off Izuku's shoulder, "I thought we'd start off by answering a question that's been bothering me for a while."
"What's that?" Izuku asked, sighing when Katsuki continued to run his fingertips over his shoulders and down his sides.
Katsuki cupped Izuku's hips as he leaned in until his mouth was next to his ear.
"What feels better? Fucking you with my fingers or with my tongue?"
