"Um… it's just that we…" Nora started stammering. They had completely forgotten there were security cameras. Moreover, they thought Tharn wasn’t that important. But seeing Ares get angry made them feel uneasy. Tharn just stood quietly, letting Ares handle his own people, thinking it wasn’t something he should get involved in. Tharn only wanted Ares to know how his people spoke so condescendingly about him.

"I’m giving you a chance to confess," Ares said in a calm voice.

"I-I’m sorry, boss. We didn’t mean to," Gianna quickly spoke up, fearing Ares's influence greatly. Ares looked at the two women with anger.

"Did we misunderstand something, boss? No one told us who this person is, but we could guess what you brought him here for, so we thought that way," Nora, who seemed reluctant to admit that Tharn was important, asked.

"Who do you think you are to presume about my matters without knowing the truth, huh? Didn’t my order to take good care of this person make it clear to you? What is your role, exactly!" Ares shouted loudly, making Tharn flinch as well. He didn’t expect Ares to be this angry. Nora’s face turned pale as she witnessed Ares’s emotional outburst.

"Liam, take care of this. I hope I don’t see the faces of these two women in my territory again," Ares commanded Liam.

"Yes, boss," Liam immediately bowed his head in acceptance of the order before sending two bodyguards to take the young woman away, both of them out of Ares's sight. Amidst the sounds of apologies and promises to improve from the two women, Ares turned to look at Tharn, still fuming from the encounter with the housekeepers, which caused Ares to glare at Tharn.

"What? What do you mean by looking at me like that?" Tharn immediately asked back. Ares raised a hand to brush his hair back to ease his irritation and took a deep breath.

"Rafa, call Foss and tell him to inform our network everywhere that those two are banned from working, regardless of position," Ares commanded his personal bodyguard.

"Yes," Rafa responded before separating to call Foss immediately.

"Huh, is it that serious?" Tharn questioned, thinking that Ares would either just give a warning or simply fire them.

"Yes, I'm not okay with what they said," Ares replied.

"Speaking of which, it's not wrong for them to think that way," Tharn joked, considering that being Ares's sex partner wasn't too different from what the women had said.

"Tharn!" Ares called out with a stern voice.

"What is it?" Tharn replied.

"Speak properly. Is it not enough that others look down on you? You’re going to look down on yourself, too?" Ares scolded, causing Tharn to pause slightly.

"You don't think like them, do you?" Tharn asked back.

"No, I've never thought that way at all. You shouldn't think that way either. If you're a whore, then I guess I would be your whore too," Ares said seriously, leaving Tharn momentarily stunned, suddenly feeling a warmth in his heart.

"Uh.. okay," Tharn replied, unsure of what else to say.

"Everywhere in my mansion, you can walk around freely, except for the storage room to the south." Ares said this for Tharn to know because that storage room is actually a door leading down to the basement where he keeps some weapons, and it connects to the other side of the mountain. Ares thought it wasn’t the right time to take Tharn to see that place yet.

"Yes," Tharn replied.

"Come inside," Ares said before walking into the beautifully arranged greenhouse. Tharn walked in and looked around with interest. It was indeed warmer inside the greenhouse than outside. Ares walked over and sat at a modern-style gazebo, which blended well with the nature of the garden.
