"Wha... please don't joke around with me like this," Tharn said, still unable to believe it, but his heart was already swelling with emotion.

"I'm not joking. If I weren't serious about you, would I come looking for you like this, Tharn?" Ares asked in return. Tharn looked at Ares with trembling eyes. Ares lowered his head, pressing his forehead against Tharn's.

"I'm sorry I wasn't by your side when you were sad and needed someone to lean on. Trust me, if I could disappear and come back, I would rush to you and comfort you myself," Ares said, his voice sincere. Before Tharn's resolve could break down completely, he started to sob immediately. He raised his hands to pull on both of Ares's ears, tugging them with a mix of anger, hurt, and jealousy, a blend of emotions that he wanted to vent at the other person.

"Ugh... where did you go? Huh... why did you leave me? Do you know how much I needed you?" Tharn sobbed and shouted as he recalled the moment he lost his mother and wanted Ares to be by his side, pulling at Ares's ears and hair.

"Tharn, that hurts," Ares said, grabbing Tharn's hands to stop him from pulling on his ears and hair. He hadn't expected Tharn to react like this. Then, he embraced Tharn to help him calm down, kissing Tharn's forehead and temple to soothe him. Tharn was both sobbing and gasping a little. Ares held Tharn tightly, alternating between comforting him and gently kissing his forehead.

"Calm down a bit, will you?" Ares asked softly.

"I'm sorry, I'm really sorry, my love. I never intended to leave you, not even a little," Ares said gently, his strong hand softly rubbing Tharn's back. Tharn was sobbing in Ares's arms, and he admitted that his mental state was fragile right now, partly due to the sorrow over his mother and his feelings of resentment towards Ares.

"I had to go check on weapon production at the North Pole, and the weather made it impossible for me to leave there to come back to you. I had to endure waiting. But when I was about to come see you, it turned out that you had run away to this place. As soon as I found out, I flew here immediately," Ares said in a serious tone. When he learned that Tharn was in this village, he had people contact a helicopter quickly. He couldn't stand the thought of sitting in a car for five hours to get here, and Ares was relieved he chose to take the helicopter instead; otherwise, he might not have arrived in time to help Tharn. Ares gently pushed Tharn away a little, using his fingers to wipe the tears from Tharn's cheeks.

"I know you have many questions for me. I'll answer everything, but first, can you accept me?" Ares asked again.

"Accept what?" Tharn replied.

"Accept ownership of my body and heart, as my lover," Ares said seriously, and Tharn's face flushed, his heart racing.

"Are you sure? Just so you know, if I get that status, I will definitely take full advantage of my rights," Tharn said, even though his voice trembled a bit. Ares smiled slightly, pleased to see that the small figure could still threaten him, despite having red, puffy eyes from crying.

"It's up to you," Ares said, and Tharn looked at Ares silently.

"Alright, I accept the status of your lover," Tharn replied. Since they were on the same page, he didn't hesitate. Tharn had secretly thought that they should be on the same wavelength, but lately, his mental state had been unstable, making it hard for him to be strong or find excuses to justify his feelings. Ares smiled contentedly.

"Since you've accepted being my lover, aren't you going to say you love me?" Ares asked. In truth, Tharn agreeing to be his lover made Ares feel that Tharn's feelings matched his own, but he still wanted to hear Tharn say he loved him.

"Why haven't you said it yet?" Tharn retorted before being met with warm, passionate lips kissing him. Ares kissed Tharn longingly before slowly pulling away.
