"If you want to know, you should probably tell me first why you can do something like that," Tharn didn’t answer but instead asked back, because he was curious about what Ares was really doing for a business. If he were to ask whether he was scared, he only felt a slight uneasiness, as he didn’t know anything about Ares.

"But you don’t have to tell me anything if you don’t want to, because anyway, you and I already have a relationship as sex partners. I don’t need to know every detail of your personal life," Tharn said. He admitted that he felt a little hollow inside because he didn’t know anything about Ares, but he tried not to think too much about it. As Ares sat in silence, Tharn decided not to say anything further.

On Ares’s side, it wasn’t that he didn’t want to tell Tharn what he was doing for a business, but he needed a little more time. He admitted that he trusted Tharn without any doubts. Tharn was someone he felt satisfied with and began to feel something for him that he had never felt for anyone else, even though they had just met. Moreover, they had even ended up being intimate together. The atmosphere in the car grew silent because no one spoke. Tharn could only sit and look out the window, pondering why he wanted to know about Ares's personal life. Even though they had agreed to be just casual partners, casual partners shouldn't meddle in each other's personal matters. If asked whether Ares was Tharn's type, Tharn would admit that he was. But if the two of them had met in a better situation at first, Tharn might have known what to do next. However, right now, their relationship was quite ambiguous. Tharn shook the thoughts out of his head and let out a soft sigh before being startled when Ares suddenly pulled his slender body to sit on his strong lap. Tharn furrowed his brows and stared at Ares silently.

"What are you thinking?" Ares asked in a calm voice.

"Nothing," Tharn replied in a somewhat defiant tone. Ares fell silent for a moment.

"One day, I will tell you," Ares said in a softer voice, but Tharn let out a sarcastic laugh.

"Huh, if I’m around by then," Tharn said, causing Ares to frown immediately.

"What do you mean?" Ares asked back.

"Maybe by the time you decide to tell me, we might have already ended our relationship and gone our separate ways," Tharn said. He didn’t think he should expect anything from the relationship between him and Ares, even though sometimes he found himself getting a bit carried away.

"You think I would let you go that easily?" Ares asked back, his voice growing firmer. Tharn looked at Ares in confusion.

"Who would know? Our relationship is just about the bed and the benefits in the cabaret," Tharn replied. Ares felt a surge of frustration just thinking about Tharn disappearing from his life.

"Stop talking about this before I can't take it anymore," Ares interjected. Tharn felt a bit unsettled by Ares's irritated demeanour towards him.

"Just let me sit comfortably for a moment," Tharn said. Being on the strong lap of the other person didn't calm his heart at all.

"What's the problem with sitting here?" Ares asked.

"Are you trying to pick a fight with me or what? If you want to argue, just say it directly so I can warm up my mouth to prepare to argue with you," Tharn said bluntly. This made the bodyguards in the car stifle their laughter, as they didn't expect Tharn to speak so straightforwardly. Ares, upon hearing this, let out a big sigh before he reluctantly allowed Tharn to sit in the seat next to him. However, his strong arms wrapped around Tharn's waist, refusing to let go. Tharn, feeling lazy to negotiate, just sat quietly until they reached the hotel.
