Tiger's trick #Ares&Tharn

After Ares finished discussing business with a new partner, he received another urgent task: he had to fly to Hawaii to check on the products that the partner in that region reported were having issues.

"Boss, I just saw that Jelo called. Should I call back to inquire?" Rafa asked, as he had just started checking his phone seriously after Ares finished his work because he wanted to send a message to someone.

"What time is it in Thailand now?" Ares asked in return.

"It should be nine in the morning," Rafa replied, as he had already calculated the time difference.

"Call him," Ares said. Rafa immediately contacted Jelo, and it wasn't long before the other party answered the call and informed Rafa about the news from Tharn.

"Boss, Mrs. Pleng was admitted to the hospital last night. It seems her condition isn't good. Mr. Tharn has been trying to contact you, but I think it was during the time we were having issues," Rafa reported.

"Let me speak with Tharn," Ares said immediately. Rafa then told Jelo, and it wasn't long before Tharn answered the call, and Rafa handed the phone over to Ares right away.

"How are you?" a deep voice asked in return.

("Me or Mae Pleng?") Tharn replied softly.

"Both you and Mrs. Pleng," Ares responded. He could sense the disappointment in Tharn's tone.

("Mae Pleng... isn't doing very well. As for me...") Tharn spoke and then fell silent, trying to hold back his sobs. Hearing Ares' voice made Tharn feel like he was becoming weaker.

"Shh, my good boy. Your mom will be fine," Ares said to comfort him, aware that Tharn was feeling distressed because the other man's voice was trembling. If Tharn were nearby, Ares would have embraced him already.

("I hope so too,") Tharn replied, his voice shaking. Just hearing Ares' voice gave Tharn some strength.

"You called me, right? Sorry, I was a bit busy," Ares said, not wanting to tell Tharn that he had been shot at, as the other party was already worried about his mother. Ares was confident that Tharn had feelings for him.

("Yes,") Tharn replied softly.

("So where are you now?") Tharn asked back.

"I'm in L.A., but I'll be flying to Hawaii soon. Anyway, when I get there, I'll call you again, or you can contact me through Rafa first. I happened to leave my phone in another car," Ares informed Tharn. Tharn acknowledged this just as the doctor came in to check on Mae Pleng, so he asked to hang up to talk with the doctor. Ares hung up willingly, and once the call was over, Rafa turned to report some information.

"Boss, Obi has contacted us," Rafa said to begin with.

"The movement from Ervil is because we've caused them to lose a huge amount of revenue," Rafa continued.

"How so?" Ares asked back, as he hadn't been involved with Ervil lately, noticing that things had been quiet on that side for a while.

"The officer, Pipat's father, is part of Ervil's network," Rafa revealed. Ares hadn't thought that the world would be so interconnected. He had ordered someone to deal with Pipat's father because Pipat was getting involved with Tharn, without realizing that the other side was part of the Ervil family's drug trafficking network. It seemed that Ervil had traced it back and discovered that Ares' people had provided information about this officer to the authorities, which is why they came to retaliate against him.

"Do they know about Tharn?" Ares asked next, concerned for Tharn's safety.

"Not sure yet. I'll have Obi follow up on this," Rafa replied. Ares nodded in response.
