"What the fvck?" Taerin muttered to herself as she swiped away the notification on her phone. "I can't believe that's the first thing I see when I wake up." She sighed and pulled herself out of bed and got into her morning routine. Soon enough, she was all ready for school.

"Hey, mom made some japchae. Sit and eat." Taehyun said as Taerin arrived in the dining room.

"Japchae for breakfast?"

"Don't complain. You love mom's japchae."

"That, I do. Where's mom?"

"Sleeping."

"She woke up to make japchae then went back to sleep?"

"Don't judge, you'd do the same."

"No I won't."

"Keep lying to yourself. Anyways, mom also made some for Jungwon." This made Taerin snap her head up from her food.

"You told her?!"

"No, but she saw you guys holding hands and came to ask me. You know I can't lie to mom. No one can lie to mom."

"Are you kidding me? What did she say?"

"She approves of him. The tricky one is dad."

"Great. At least she's on my side."

"Be grateful. I didn't even have mom on my side."

"You have horrible taste in girls."

"Says who?"

"Remember that one ex that poured green dye in your shampoo because she thought you were cheating on her with me? And also made a scene at school that you and our parents had to come settle that stuff? Yeah, thanks for humiliating me in front of my whole cohort. Luckily Wonyoung is the queen of news."

"Okay, I see your point. Whatever, I'm staying off the dating scene. Anyways, I've packed Jungwon's portion. He can eat it in the car."

"Okay. Give me five more minutes."

"I'll start the car. Remember to lock the door."

"Yeah yeah."

"So, your mom knows we're dating?" Jungwon asked as he was handed the box of food.

"Yeah, sorry."

"Why are you apologising? Your mom doesn't need to make me food though."

"She just wants to."

"Thank her for me then."

"Alright."

The day seemed to be going normally, and peacefully, until they arrived in school, where they were quickly dragged by Chaewon into the nearest dance room, where the rest of their group was gathered. Even Jake and Jay were present.

"What, Chae? What's going on?" Chaewon didn't respond to Taerin's question as she quickly shut the door behind them and locked it.

"So, did you receive an email from Jaeyong?"

"Yeah but I just ignored it- Wait, how did you know?"

"Because Wonyoung and I got an email as well, and it basically said that he'll expose your relationship if you didn't respond."

"He emailed us to tell you to respond. What a loser." Wonyoung shook her head and let out a sigh. "Anyways, that's exactly what he did on the school's forum just now."
