Riki's POV

Jaeyun was living in a fucking fantasy if he thought I'd kill Jungwon.

Blond bitches like him are wild animals. You lock them in cages, tame them, and study them like science projects.

After the murder, I did my homework. Turns out he was totally gay for his best friend. Wouldn't have worked anyway. Jungkook liked pussies.

He also died.

Mourning someone and still trying to get laid. Call that self-respect.

I bet that bitch dyed his hair blond to look like Barbie. Probably dreamed of getting handcuffed to a bed and taking his best friend's 9mm up his ass.

Jungwon was one of a kind.

If the living cousin refused the part, I already knew the script. "Take me. Take me."

Taking his car was the first thing he did when he left the police station around five. Shift ended early.

By Friday, all the bad guys had already been caught. I must've been a good one to still be on the loose.

If I touched his car, he'd probably pin me against the hood and handcuff me.

Should've tried.

Too late. The bmw had already pulled over.

I followed him from a distance.

Apparently, cops are trained to spot when they're being followed. Never believed that. You don't need training to work for the government. Open your mouth and relax your throat. That's all it takes.

Keeping my distance wasn't so bad though.

He drove like the road belonged to him. Braked late. Cut people off. Passed everyone.

Between two cries about his wife, Jaeyun said bmw drivers were the biggest assholes on the road. Probably picked that up from a hookup in the backseat of one of them.

My type.

Almost lost Jungwon at one point.

I caught up with him after he parked in front of some fancy clothing store. A cop who ignores no-parking spots. Cute.

I stayed hidden a few cars back.

Wished I had a better view. Another cop came up, knocked on his window. He rolled it down and held out his badge.

The other cop walked away.

A police badge worked better than a bribe? I needed one. Or his.

Nah. Forget it. I didn't want my name anywhere near anything police-related.
