" What we call the beginning is often the end. And to make an end is to make a beginning. The end is where we start from."
-T.S. Eliot
In the enigmatic town of Kshaya lurks a figure shrouded in infamy: SHAITAN, the most wanted criminal whose true id...
Ashwath's breath caught in his throat, his body frozen in horror as his heart raced wildly against his ribs. His eyes struggled to focus, the world around him spinning, his mind unwilling to comprehend what was unfolding. Every muscle in his body screamed for him to move, but the rope binding his arms to the door kept him rooted in place, mercilessly pulling against his flesh. His wrists burned, the thick rope digging into his skin, but the pain was nothing compared to the dread gnawing at his insides.

The ringing in his ears deafened everything except the frantic beat of his own pulse, each thump a cruel reminder of his helplessness. Panic surged through him as he tried to fight the restraints, but the more he fought, the tighter the rope seemed to grow, choking the last of his strength. His body jerked violently against the bindings, but they held fast. His chest felt hollow, crushed beneath the weight of the unknown as every rational thought escaped him. He was trapped-both physically and emotionally-and with every passing second, his mind began to unravel.
His blurred vision slowly sharpened, the world coming into cruel focus, and as it did, the stark reality of his situation hit him like a tidal wave. The wreckage of the jeep surrounded him, flames licking at the night sky, the fire crackling in a sickening rhythm, a stark contrast to the silence of his imprisonment. The acrid smell of gasoline and burning metal burned his nostrils, but it was the sight of his surroundings that gripped him in a vice of terror.
He was lying on the ground, the cold dirt beneath him sticky with his own blood. His body ached in every direction, the pain a dull echo in the back of his mind, muffled by the raw fear clawing at his insides. Ashwath tried to lift himself, only to be met with excruciating pain as his head throbbed like a drumbeat. He winced, unable to move as he instinctively wiped his face against his shoulder to clear the blood. The fabric of his shirt, already soaked, turned a deeper crimson, each moment a reminder of the violence that had already been dealt.
Then, his gaze fell upon her.
Ahalya.
She was lying just a few feet away, her once vibrant form now a hollow shell, stripped of the energy and life he knew so well. Her face was ashen, pale as death, and her eyes were closed in an unnatural stillness that sent a chill deep into Ashwath's soul. The blood on her skin, once a symbol of her beauty and strength, was now a dark stain that marked the cruel price of her sacrifice. Her dress, the bright red fabric that had once been full of life and color, was now a grotesque shroud of blood-soaked ruin.
