"So you mean to tell us, that our narcissistic prat of a brother, is in love with himself?", Rebekah said with a scoff. "I should not even be surprised really".
"No", Elijah quickly interjected, "Octavia Belle De Vaye says that their feelings for each other are purely their own. However, if they are apart from one another they will never find peace".
"Talking to old girlfriends are you?", Klaus said with a smirk. Completely ignoring the serious conversation Elijah was trying to have.
Elijah took a sip of his drink, not really wanting to discuss Octavia. "Kol needed information, and not many witches are older and wiser than Octavia. Regardless, we did find out that Miss Alexandra is very much soul bound to him".
"Oh goody, our little brother has found love", Klaus said sarcastically.
"I don't think you two understand the seriousness of this situation". Elijah was clenching his jaw. Annoyed with his younger siblings lack of understanding. "If anything were to happen to the girl, Kol would not stop himself from rampaging. He would quite literally tear the world apart, much worse than he has done before".
Niklaus got up to pour himself another drink. He cared very little what Kol did. "Then I'd just dagger him again, a couple centuries in timeout would do him some good", Klaus said with a chuckle. This earned an eyeroll from Rebekah.
"Brother you don't understand. If she were to die, we'd be better off staking Kol with the white oak. No matter how long you kept him daggered, he'd never be okay. She is his human side. I'd prefer we not have to kill any of our siblings being as though we've already lost Finn and Heinrik".
Klaus pursed his lips together. He did not want to believe what he was hearing, but he knew Elijah wouldn't lie to him. Rebekah looked very conflicted as well, but being as though Alex was her closest friend, she would have protected her regardless. This just meant that she wouldn't be able to dagger Kol until the cure was found, making her plans with Stefan Salvatore more complicated.
"Well that's fine then", Klaus said giving in, "we will protect the human girl. In the meantime Kol needs to be daggered, and as soon as I have my cure, he can be reunited with his love".
"He cannot be daggered, Alex would go insane.", Rebekah protested.
"What harm could that human possibly do?", Klaus snapped at his sister!
"We aren't daggering our little brother", Elijah said with a stern tone causing both his siblings to glance over at him. "There is more", he continued, "Octavia thinks it's in the best interest of everyone if Alexandra never becomes vampire and remains human. Kol is capable of great darkness, and it resides in Alexandra as well. She didn't say this in front of Kol because of his temper. He has no idea".
