-3rd POV-

It had been hours sense Jeremy dug a stake through Alex's heart. She wasn't a vampire, but a human so it wasn't an easy task. He had so much rage towards Kol, towards the fact his sister was stuck as a monster, towards the fact that Alex seemingly got over him overnight. Part of him felt like he maybe killed her on purpose, but he couldn't. In a way he loved her.
The scene was horrible. Kol, a self admitted psychopath, crying over the body of the woman he loved. Caroline, her sister, wailing in the background. Caroline cried so hard she couldn't form words. Alex was her ONLY sister.
Even Klaus stood frozen in the doorway. He was over taken by anger that the doppleganger and her brother tried to kill his brother, but his dead heart also ached for the pain he knew Kol was going through. A loss like this was enough to make Kol go mad. He wouldn't be okay.

It had only been minuets before Kol realized that Alex had drank his blood that morning. The realization hit him like a bright light in the night sky.
Jeremy and Elena had been so shocked by what transpired, they hadn't even tried to stake Kol while he was distracted. Caroline was ready to rip their heads off if they did.
Kol stood up, cradling his girlfriend's dead body and vamped into the night.
Klaus and Caroline followed close behind, making sure they didn't lose them.
None of three bothered to check on, or heal the young witch Taylor. Sure Klaus had impaled her with a piece of fence, but they could still hear her heart beating when they ran.
No one cared about her. They only cared about Alex.

Alex was safely tucked away in Kol's old room at Klaus's mansion. Her lifeless body laid still on the sheets where her and Kol consumated their love.
Kol, Caroline, and Rebekah never leaving her side. Even Klaus and Elijah were lingering around. They both understood the implications of what could happen Alex turned, but it was too late now. Sure they could try and convince her not to complete the transition, but it would cost them their youngest siblings. Alls they could hope for now, is that they could control Alex. After all, Octavia said she couldn't be sure that Alex would he a ripper.
Everyone in the room was tense. Alex was taking forever to wake up.

"Are you sure she fed this morning Kol?", Rebekah questioned. She was growing impatient with worry that her best and only friend was dead.

"Of course I'm bloody sure!", Kol spat at her.
He knew she had just fed, after all, she usually fed from him when they were intimate and that was a lot.

"Relax brother.", Elijah spoke curtly. He was less than pleased with everything that transpired with the Gilbert's. After all, this wasn't the first time Elena betrayed him. He was of no sound mind to make decisions. He needed to stay put and make sure his youngest brother did nothing stupid.

Caroline had remained silent. Very out of character for her, but she had nothing to say.
She thought of all the times she ignored Alex in favor of her friends. She prioritized Tyler, a guy who ditched her multiple times, and Elena, who'd never pick her over Jeremy. She was also now dealing with the fact that Bonnie was in on the scheme. She had begged her friends not to harm Kol unless her sister could be separated, but her please went unheard. They did what they wanted like they always do.
The only comfort she was finding was from Klaus, who was also eerily silent. He wasn't in shock, or lost in thought, he was plotting revenge.

How dare those bloody Gilbert's try and kill another one of his siblings?!

Sure he hadn't cared to much when Finn died, but Finn was a traitor. Sure he and Kol weren't the closest, but he did still care for his youngest brother.

Caroline went to go sit on the bed next to her sister, taking her hand into hers. It felt so cold. So dead. Her mind started racing with everything they'd need.
Obviously she knew they needed a blood bag, but Klaus had already brought one up. She also needed to find a new witch to make a daylight ring, now that she didn't trust Bonnie.
She'd also have to tell her mother that her second child was now also a vampire.. Something she really dreaded. Liz didn't deserve this anymore than Caroline or Alex did.
