"TYLER!" I screamed, sobbing as I gripped Thay and Ty's cold hands. Why were their hands so cold... "THAY! WAKE UP, WAKE UP! W-what do we do?! TYLER! MOM!!"
They couldn't be dead. N-no. I couldn't have failed to protect Thay. And Tyler can't leave. Not yet.
"Taylor?" Mom ran into the bus, her and Mike crouching by Tyler and Thay's bodies. "Tyler, Thay, my babies?"
They couldn't be gone.
Mike lifted Tyler and Thay off the bus floor, my hands dropping from theirs. It was no problem. I'd hold their hands again. They were alive.
