School Bus Graveyard
Ashlyn's green eyes transferred back to the paper. "Oh..." my head perked up, waiting. "Oh."
Dude.
I got out of Aiden's lap, snatching the paper from her hand. "If you aren't gonna share, just hand it over," I snapped. Tyler looked over my shoulder, both of us saying the same thing. "The apocalypse?"
Tyler shoved my face away, taking the paper from me. "The cult guy wants to start the apocalypse?"
The last thing I saw before waking up on the white tile floor of the bathroom was everyone's shocked faces, frozen in fear.
The apocalypse?

My head felt like it was going to explode from the inside out.
I groaned, holding my head as I processed my surroundings. I was in a bathroom with white tile flooring and walls, a white porcelain sink in front of me. But the only thing on my mind was our last words. The apocalypse? What did that even mean? A bunch of the infected running around, or so I guessed. Like a super soldier, so Maverick could be a dictator.
Although Maverick didn't give off DiCtAtOr ViBeS. More like SeRiAl KiLLeR vibes. Like the vibes my brother gave off when he found out what Barron and I did. My cheeks flushed at the thought. If anyone in our group found out now...
As I stood up, I glanced in the mirror at a small scar on my neck.
I hummed, dragging a hand through my brown hair, lifting my bangs, then dropping them as I removed my hand.
I had gotten over Barron a while ago. He couldn't bother me here, anyway.
I walked out of the bathroom, and plopped onto my bed, my stomach growling as I got under the covers. Might as well sleep, because I had nothing better to do.
