~Reader’s POV~

I go to wake up but as I moved I noticed I wasn't just under the duvet, I looked up to see Loki there sound asleep so I decide to not move and rather just lay there. It was quiet and warm but I never needed a draft much thanks to Loki being colder than most people, it was peaceful and nice for once and I realised he must have carried me here last night and of course he had put me in his t-shirt.

"Must be thinking pretty hard, woke me up." I jolt at his voice and I slap him on his chest out of annoyance.

"You scared me, don't do that." I look up to him as he looks down to me.

"Do what? Wake up?" I roll my eyes as he smirks all of a sudden the air grew thick as we realised how close we were to one another.

"No you can wake up just not scare me like that."

"Oh I'm sorry, I'll try not to next time." I could tell he was messing around with me so I decided to get up and as I moved I felt his hand on my side squeeze a little harder.

"Wait." I turn to see a still sleepy Loki.

"What?" He gives me a look.

"I want to take you sight seeing through the city myself." I think for a moment and smirk.

"So a date." He shakes his head with a frown.

"No not a date. Just sight seeing." I hum.

"Sightseeing just us because you insisted? Yeah sure not a date." I go to move again but he stops me again this time pulling me back to the bed properly.

"Would you like that?" I act oblivious just to hear it from him properly.

"Like what?"

"Like if that's what it was, a...you know."

"No I don't know." He growls before pushing me back to the bed and looking down at me.

"Are you seriously going to make me say it?" I nod trying to hide my smile, his bed hair and his gruff tone made this very difficult for me to stay concentrated especially the way he was dressed.

"Fine. Y/n would you like to go sightseeing of the city with me on a...date?" This time I did smile as he looked away as a small blush graces his cheeks so I decide to do something brave and place my hand against the back of his neck making him go rigid but he does look at me, I take a breath.

"I would really like that." He nods before pulling away and standing up not saying much just leaving me there, I drop my hand and roll my eyes. He was still so him sometimes, I roll out of bed and decide to make the bed to ease my mind a bit more I preferred the covers in Midgard they're warmer. Once I was done I turn around to see Loki come back from the bathroom and his hair was slicked back, he wore a white shirt with the top button undone and the sleeves rolled up tucked into some black jeans with black boots. It was definitely a look, I go to choose some clothing from my new clothes out but I had no idea where Loki had put them.

"Loki, where did you put the clothes?"

"Top three drawers." I head over and there they all were, deciding to try and go for what Loki had decided to tone the day as so I picked out one of my new black long neck tops and a white thigh length skirt. I get dressed before deciding to wear black high heeled boots that laced up, once completely done I used a brush to untangle my hair before clipping half of it up so it was out of my eyes. I stand up and give myself a once over being pleased with the outcome and I turn to leave only to see Loki stood by the door leaning on the wall but his eyes were wondering.

"Stop it." He looks to my eyes this time and stands up.

"Midgardian clothes suit you, and you chose to wear a skirt. Thought you hated that stuff." I nod.

"Well I do yes but a skirt feels different, feels more flattering. I think so anyway." Again his eyes start wondering around me again.

"I agree." I stomp my foot slightly causing him to stop staring.

"Stop staring. It's making me uncomfortable." He rolls his eyes.

"Alright I'll stop staring, but it really does suit you now shall we go? We can eat out today." He holds the door open for me as we go to say goodbye to the others.

"With what money?"

"Well with any luck Stark will lend me his card but chances are extremely slim." I shake my head as we join everyone in the living area, I greet them all as they do me.

"Well, you two look very picturesque." I look down shyly to my feet.

"Yeah I hate how much you two look great together." I start fidgeting with my fingers as they talk before Loki places a soft hand on the small of my back.

"Definitley a royal looking couple, very powerful."

"Your parents made the right deal." That comment didn't make me feel that good at all but I chose to just put on a smile and walk over to the kitchen where I chose an apple to eat before we left, I rejoined Loki in the loving room.

"It's not for me."

"Forget it Loki, you're the last person I'd give my card to." I look between the two as I ate my apple.

"It is merely to eat as I show her around."

"Well you should definitely know New York." I glance to Loki to see how he reacted to that commented he acted unfazed but I notice his jaw tensed.

"Fine but just for food, anything more than that and you're a dead man." Loki takes the card from Tony as I finish my apple.

"Ready to go?" I nod with a smile before addressing everyone else.

"See you guys later, thank you Tony." For the first time since being here he gives me a genuine smile.

"You're welcome, have fun." Loki guides me away from everyone to leave.

"How do you do that?"

"Do what?"

"Make people feel at ease around you and like you." I smile as we head down the elevator.

"I use manners for a start, and I guess I'm just easier to be around. You have a dominant aura which isn't a bad thing though." He doesn't really respond as we walk out onto the streets of New York, everyone was walking at a high pace.

"It'll be alright, we're going to touristy places so there will be less of people rushing to work." I nod at what he says.

"I'm tiny though what if I get whisked away in a crowd?" He thinks for a moment not agreeing or disagreeing with what I had said.

"Well this is a date right?" I give him an odd look before I feel a coolness take my hand and I look down only to see Loki's hand slowly but timidly holding mine as his fingers interlock mine. I look upto him only to see him dodging my eyes.

"Loki, I get you're afraid of people in general. But you're not going to hurt me or anyone stop being so timid, besides this is nice. Now come on I want to see stuff." He relaxes a little at my words and instead smiles.

"Alright, come on. We've got quite a bit to see."
