- Time Skip - Reader's POV -

It had been about a week since I had got here, my parents had left the day after my arrival leaving me well and truly alone. After the day they left the Queen had immediately began training me on what my duty is as a princess and how I am expected to act, as well as getting me to help with wedding preparations which really I didn't give much input on. It was beginning to get exhausting the constancy of it, I barely saw Loki and when I did it was either the banquet hall for dinner or around the grounds but he never spoke to me. I was starting to figure out my way around this place even having found the library, it was my safe haven and sometimes I would go there in order to hide from Friga and all the preparation which I were I was currently. I was sat in my little corner of the library surrounded by bookcases all snuggled up nose deep in a book, when all of a sudden I hear the doors open and more than 1 pair of feet walk into the room.

"I don't care Thor." Loki and Thor, I decide to sit quietly and listen.

"She is a lovely girl, why can't you just try?" I knew they were talking about me at this point.

"Because she is not the girl I chose to have by my side, and I certainly will not change my mind nor will I get to know her." It's silent for a few moments.

"Loki, she has not run away yet. She is stronger than you think she is."

"So? Maybe you'd like to have her." I grow angry at being treated like an object so I get up from my position and walk into visibility.

"Have me? I am not a thing, I get that you would rather douse your eyes with acid than be caught dead with me but you can still be respectful. I am not an object that can just be talked about and told to do or made to do things by people, especially you Laufeyson. I get enough of that from my father and god forbid if my brother was home and knew I had been handed off to the Devil's spawn, I would already be out of your hair. But I'm not, so do not treat me like an object." With that I set my book back on it's shelf and as I walk past Thor he gently grabs my arm.

"Forgice me Y/n, that was wrong of me." He lets my arm go and I say nothing as I walk away back to my room. I start to re-organise things around my room I wasn't messy at all I just like to go around and do this whenever I wanted to calm down, I wasn't mad at Thor I was more mad at Loki. There comes a knock on my door so I go and open it, it was a guard.

"The Queen wishes to see you in the banquet hall." I sigh knowing she wants to discuss plans again, so I put on a fake smile.

"Of course." I exit the room and as I do so does Loki from his, I hadn't noticed he had come back but this time he does not look or say anything to me. I start walking to where I need to go being aware of the fact Loki is not far behind me, once I get there Loki makes his way for the hall as well. It seems like we were both called to the hall but still we don't addressing another, we head in and when we do both the Queen and King werre there.

"Please sit." I sit in the seat beside where Loki will be sitting, mainly because I don't want to sit beside his father. Loki sits I the seat I left empty as we sit with his parents.

"We are aware that it's been a week since Y/n has arrived and neither of you are speaking to one another." Friga wasn't wrong.

"Not true, she spoke to me today." I glare at Loki who just holds a high smirk.

"That is not what they meant." Odin holds a hand up to stop us both and I listen.

"Nethertheless, it cannot go on like this. Not when you are due to be wed in 7 weeks and less, so we have been talking and we believe that before anything else is sorted you two will go on a journey of Asgard for a week together." I feel Loki shift uncomfortably, I didn't really like that news much but I never really travelled through Asgard or anywhere a lot really.
