Sunny looked around the room.
I don't think this is another dream, don't worry.
There was a woman doing something around the room. She noticed Sunny.
"Oh, good morning! I was just packing you up, since you are discharged from the hospital today. Is your mom going to pick you up?"
Sunny stared blankly. Weren't we supposed to move out 2 days ago? Does she know about what happened?
"I... don't know."
"You can contact her in the lobby if you want! Now, are you hungry? There is breakfast beside your bed."
He looked to the side. Some sandwiches were there. Sunny grabbed one, and ate it bit by bit.
What stuff is she even packing? I don't remember bringing anything.
That's because you were unconscious while brought to the hospital.
Oh yeah, right.
Perhaps somebody brought your stuff there for you.
But why is it unpacked?
I don't know, but it isn't important right now. What worries me is that dream you just had.
You've seen it?
Yes, but from a distance, and I couldn't do anything, just watch. No idea what that was. I know only that it's unsettling.
Sunny looked at the clock... 11 am.
That's a lot of time wasted. I still feel tired anyway. I need to get back to Kel's headspace.
Slow down, you are supposed to meet Basil today, remember?
Oh. I forgot.
"Everything is ready! I packed all the instructions and prescriptions into your purse.
Oh. My cat backpack.
Sunny felt a little embarrassed. Fortunately the nurse was nice and didn't judge.
"And here are your clothes. When you change, leave the hospital fit on the bed, and you're free to go! And the phone is in your right when you come from this hallway."
"Thank you."
As the nurse left, Sunny did exactly that, took his cat backpack and left the room. He felt actually uncomfortable still in the same clothing, because it made him feel like The Truth was never out.
I think I need to get new clothes. But not now.
He took a big breath and opened the doors to Kel's room.
Nothing's really changed. Everything on it's place, Kel sleeping...
Kel sleeping? Nearly 24 hours passed. Maybe he really needs recovery...
Or that dog is keeping him inside.
Sunny tried to ignore Omori's voice.
I believe in him. He'll wake up in no time.
After quietly going out, he arrived at the phone place and dialed his mother.
"Hello?"
"Hi mom..."
"Oh Sunny! Are you alright? I knew that you were supposed to be discharged today, but I thought you would rest more. Do you need a ride from the hospital now?"
