A big thank you to all for making it to 1k reads. Gratitude from the bottom of my heart because as a writer it means a lot. I hope there's more to come with the time passing by and soon we turn into a huge family. Touchwood!!!

Time seemed to slow down, each moment stretching out as Devyaan and I walked hand in hand along the beach. The gentle breeze coming off the water was cool, brushing against my face. I was still wearing his coat, the fabric heavy on my shoulders with his hand wrapped around mine was warm and reassuring. With him by my side, everything felt perfect, like nothing could disturb the peace of this moment.

With time passing by, I’m beginning to truly understand just how important he is in my life. What could have easily turned into a nightmare in my memory has become something out of a dream, all because of him.

He promised me once that he wouldn’t let anything happen to me, whether it be physically or mentally, and he’s kept that promise. Not just today, but every time I’ve found myself in trouble since the day we met, he’s been there—my knight in shining armor.

His presence turns every challenge into something I can face, knowing he’s always there to protect and support me.

“So?” His voice pulled me out of my thoughts, bringing me back to the present. I looked up at him, raising my eyebrows in curiosity. “How was the song?” he asked, a hint of anticipation in his eyes.

All I could manage in response was a single word, spoken in a dreamy tone: “Unreal.”

He smiled, a soft, knowing smile, and shook his head lightly as if amused by my reaction.

"Sach mein!," I said, trying to make him believe me, but he just replied, "You sing well too." I felt a blush rise to my cheeks and responded shyly, "If the song is of SRK, I just can't help but vibe to it." My voice had a sheepish tone.
("Really!")

He squeezed his eyes at my words, clearly amused, and said, "Not this again, please."

"What?" I asked, surprised.

"You and your endless praise for The SRK."

"Accha ji? Well, anyone who wants to be around me has to deal with that because he deserves all the praise," I said, crossing my arms playfully.
("Is it?)

He just chuckled, "If you say so."

"By the way,” I continued, “who was the one who sang not just one but two of his songs today?"

"Not two. I sang only one song of his, and that was just sometime ago," he said with a tensed jaw, suddenly stopping in his tracks.

I frowned, confused by his words. "No, before that, the song you sang at the par—"

Before I could finish, he pulled me closer with a sudden force, causing my hand to land on his chest. He leaned in and whispered,“I don’t want any memory from that time in my head if it’s not a good one for you.”
