Devyaan stood there, utterly speechless. His heart pounded as if trying to leap out of his chest, and the world around him seemed to blur. It was just her-her words, her courage, her love-and the rising sun casting a golden glow over her.

Aadrika Roy Sharma, the girl he admired and adored, was asking him for his heart in a way that was so perfectly her. He could barely contain the emotions flooding through him.

But fearing that his silence, born out of sheer happiness, might be misinterpreted as rejection, Devyaan quickly knelt down to her level.

Leaning closer, he whispered, "Gladly," his voice trembling with emotion as his eyes glistened with unshed tears. A radiant smile broke through his overwhelmed state as he accepted the flowers with utmost sincerity.

Aadrika's eyes moistened at his response, and before hesitation could creep in, she gently cupped his face in her hands. Without a word, she leaned in and pressed a tender kiss to his forehead.

Devyaan's eyes fluttered shut as he let out a sharp, breath, the moment overwhelming his senses.

Time seemed to stand still as they absorbed the magnitude of the moment. The golden hues of the rising sun showered them in warmth, casting a heavenly glow over their little world. The soft rustle of leaves faded into the background. The waves flowed towards them, their gentle ebb and flow lapping at their knees and feet.

For those fleeting minutes, nothing else mattered.

After a few minutes, Aadrika pulled back slightly, her expression shifting to mock anger as she said, "Dev, it's your birthday, and I don't want a single moment of this day for you to be in tears. And not just today but every day hereafter in your life."

Devyaan chuckled at her words and replied, "Aare, yeh toh khushi ke aansu hain, pagli."

("Hey but these are tears of joy, crazy girl")

Aadrika lightly slapped his arm, her pout making her even more endearing. "I don't care!" she retorted firmly.

"Okay, okay, Madam," Devyaan said, grinning as he stood up, pulling her to her feet along with him.

The moment was overwhelming for him. Not only had he won the love of the woman he adored, but she had taken the first step in proposing to him. As much as he was happy, his heart warmed seeing Aadrika even happier than him.

It was enough to erase every shred of doubt and overthinking he had about their relationship in the past. Witnessed by the dawning sun, Devyaan silently promised himself to cherish this relationship forever and fight for its happiness, no matter what.

Soon, Aadrika led Devyaan to a small tent he had somehow missed earlier. Though modest in size, the tent was beautifully decorated, filled with an array of homemade dishes and desserts, along with a neatly wrapped gift placed at the center.
