It was Friday evening, the night of my birthday party. I was in my room, getting agitated by each second, my makeup wasn't going on right. And I could feel myself getting upset. Arsenio was in his own room waiting for me to come out to go together to the party. His mind was focused on me, wondering why was taking me so long to get ready.

He waited a few more minutes, but when 10 minutes passed, he started to get worried. It's taking me longer than usual to finish up, which means something must be up. He decided he was going to my room to check on me.

He walks through the halls and makes his way to my room, he doesn't even bother knocking on the door and just walks in. "Indira? Why are you taking so-" He stopped speaking once he looked at me, noticing that I was struggling with my makeup.

He looked at me for a moment, he could feel that I was getting agitated. He closed the door behind him and walked towards me. "Indira, calm down," He said gently as he got closer to me, he looked at the makeup stuff I had laid out on the table, most of them were messy.

I was crying and rubbing my eyes "It's not working how I want it to be,".

Seeing me so frustrated got Arsenio worried, but he kept his cool as he got closer to me and grabbed my wrists for me to let go of my face. "Stop rubbing it, you're going to ruin it even more." He said firmly.

He looked at my face, seeing the smudges all over it. He didn't say anything but he could tell that I was crying. He silently took one of the makeup tissues and started fixing what I had messed up. He was silently working as he fixed the smudges and other messy parts of the makeup. "It's alright, you can calm down now."

He gently muttered as he focused on fixing up the makeup on my face. Once he was done, he stepped away from me slightly as he looked at me, silently admiring how the makeup looked on me. "There, it's all fixed now. You look pretty."

He noticed I was still quiet, he gently put a hand on top of my head. "You can look in the mirror now, everything looks fine."

"I don't feel pretty," I sniffled and looked into the mirror.

He heard my sniffling and he couldn't help but give a small sigh. Seeing me this upset made him feel terrible. He moved to stand beside me and grabbed my chin, pulling my head over to face him. "Stop that, look at me."

I looked up into his eyes. He looked into my eyes and he could see that I was still upset, but he had to calm me down, he didn't like seeing me like this. "Listen, you look as pretty as ever. You don't need to cry over the makeup, it's already been fixed so there's no point in crying anymore." He said, keeping eye contact with me.

"Okay," I nodded slowly.

He smiled a bit when I nodded, seeing that I was starting to calm down. "Now, stop crying. You've got a party to go to, remember? You have to do your best and have a good time," He said as he slowly let go of my chin, he looked at me for a moment, silently admiring how pretty I looked.

"Okay give me ten minutes to get properly ready and we can head down," I said quietly.

He nodded, he was willing to wait that long as long as I calm down and feel better. "Alright then," He turned away from me and started walking out of the room. "I'll be waiting for you so don't take too long, okay?"

He walked out of my room and went back to his room. He sat on the bed and waited there patiently, he didn't mind waiting. It's not like it's been the first time he waited a while for me to get ready. So he just sat there, silently waiting.

The moment I came out of my room, he heard my footsteps getting closer so he got up from the bed to turn around and look at me. His mind instantly went blank for a moment when he saw me. His eyes immediately noticed the details of every single thing I was wearing, the dress, the accessories and the makeup. He didn't even notice that he was staring for a few seconds, I looked so pretty that he was mesmerized.

He was silent for a few moments, his mind had stopped working as he stared at me. After a couple of seconds, he blinked and his mind came back to him. He quickly composed himself as he regained his wits and walked over to me, he stopped in front of me and looked down at me. "You're....you're-" He was having a hard time getting his words out as he looked at me, I just looked so beautiful to him.

He shook his head silently as he composed himself again, still standing in front of me. "You look...you look very beautiful, Indira," he managed to say. He didn't know how to properly describe how I looked to him, his mind couldn't form any words. He was still mesmerized by my appearance.

"Thank you, Arsenio..." I replied gently.

He nodded, he wasn't sure he was able to speak any more properly. I looked so beautiful, it's making it hard for him to speak. He took my hand lightly into his, his mind was still trying to comprehend how pretty I was. "Are you ready to head down?" He asked in a soft voice.

I nodded "Yeah, I think I am," I replied.

He looked at me for a few more moments before swallowing a lump in his throat. He nodded as well and gave my hand an affectionate squeeze. "Alright, let's go then," He said before they began walking down to the ballroom.

"Wait, you don't have a mask on," I said quickly.
