Mark had vanished downstairs after Tenebroso had fallen asleep and I was left waiting in the nursery, curious about the surprise. After a few minutes, Mark reappeared in the doorway, a sly smile playing at the corners of his lips. "Are you ready for that surprise now?" He asked, his voice teasing and mischievous.

"Mhm!!" I got up.

Mark's smile widened as he watched my excitement. He held out his hand, gesturing for me to take it. "Follow me," he said, his eyes sparkling with anticipation. I held his hand and followed him.

Mark led me out of the nursery and into the living room. He guided me over to the couch and gestured for me to have a seat. "Stay right here," he said, his voice filled with anticipation. "I'll be back in just a second."

"Okay," I closed my eyes.

Mark disappeared from the room momentarily, leaving me alone with my eyes closed. The anticipation was building and I could feel my heart beating a little faster. After a few moments, Mark reappeared in the doorway, holding something behind his back.

"Alright, you can open your eyes now," he said, his voice filled with excitement. As I opened my eyes, the sight in front of me made my heart skip a beat. Mark was standing a few steps away from me, holding a bouquet of my favourite flowers in one hand, and in the other, a small wrapped box. His expression was filled with love and anticipation, his eyes fixed on my face as he waited for my reaction.

"Awe baby..." I got up and hugged him fast.

Mark returned my embrace, wrapping his arms around me tightly and holding me close. "I'm glad you like it," he said, his voice warm and filled with pleasure. "I wanted to do something special for you, something that would make you happy." He pulled away slightly, holding the bouquet and the small wrapped box out to me. "These are for you," he said, his eyes sparkling.

"Thank you... I love it," I gently took the flowers "Do you have a vase? I can put these in,".

"Of course," Mark replied, still smiling warmly. He pointed towards a cabinet in the corner of the living room. "There are some vases in that cabinet over there. Take your pick."

Mark watched as I walked into the kitchen to arrange the flowers. He sank onto the couch, waiting patiently with the small wrapped box on his lap. A few minutes later, I returned from the kitchen with the flowers now arranged in their new vase, taking a spot on a nearby table.

"Oh and this," I looked at the wrapped box on his lap with a smile.

Mark smiled back at me, his eyes filled with anticipation. "Yes, this is the other part of the surprise," he said, holding up the wrapped box. "I've been saving it for when you arrived, and now that you're here...."

He beckoned me closer, patting the cushion beside him on the couch. "Come sit down." I sat down next to him.

Mark placed the wrapped box in my lap and watched as I looked down at it, his expression showing his eagerness for me to open it. "Go ahead," he said, his voice gentle. "Open it."

As I pulled the wrapping open, I found a velvet jewellery box, nestled inside. Mark watched intently, a mixture of excitement and nervousness in his eyes. "Go ahead, open the box," he said again, his voice holding a hint of trepidation now.

As I opened the lid of the jewellery box, a gasp escaped my lips. Inside was a beautiful diamond necklace, the sparkling gemstone set in a delicate silver setting. The diamonds were arranged in a heart shape, glistening in the soft light. Mark watched my reaction closely, his expression filled with a mixture of nervous anticipation and hope.

"You didn't... this would've been expensive," I said gently.

Mark chuckled softly at my words, his expression filled with affection. "Of course I did," he said, his voice warm. "And yes, it was expensive, but you're worth every penny." He reached out and touched my hand, his fingers gently tracing over my knuckles. "I wanted to get you something special, something beautiful like you. And when I saw this necklace, I knew it was perfect for you."

I leaned into his embrace "You're too good for me... thank you,".

Mark wrapped his arms around me, holding me close to his chest. He nuzzled his face into my hair, inhaling my scent. "Don't say that," he mumbled against my head. "You deserve this and more. You're my everything, and I want to give you everything you deserve."

He pulled back a little so he could look into my eyes. "Will you let me put it on you?" He asked, his voice soft and tender.

I nodded fast "Yes, please," I said gently.

Mark smiled warmly at my answer, his heart swelling with affection. He reached down and gingerly picked up the necklace from its velvet bed. "Lean forward a little," he instructed gently, lifting the necklace over my head.

Mark's fingers nimbly fastened the necklace around my neck, the cool, smooth weight of the diamond against my skin. He gently caressed the nape of my neck as he fastened the clasp, his touch tender and loving. When he was finished, he leaned back to admire the necklace against my skin, a satisfied smile on his face.

"Is it perfect on me?" I asked faintly.

Mark's eyes lingered on the necklace, drinking in the sight of it on me. He let out a soft exhale, his voice filled with awe. "Perfect doesn't even begin to describe it," he murmured. "You look absolutely stunning, baby."

He reached out and gently touched the diamond that rested against my collarbone, his fingers tracing its outline. "It was made for you," he said, his voice filled with tenderness. "Just like you were made for me."

I looked at him with a soft look "Arsenio never treat me like this... I don't know what to say other than thank you..." I looked down and spoke quietly in a surprised tone.
