Days later, he sat at his desk in his office, going over reports and planning the next move with his most trusted men gathered around him. The mood in the room was tense and sombre, with the recent casualties still fresh in everyone's minds. "Alright, let's get to work," he said, his voice firm and authoritative. "We've got a lot to discuss and plan for."

His men nodded, their faces serious and focused. They knew that they had important decisions to make and that their leader was counting on them to stay sharp and focused despite the tragedies they had been through. "First things first," Arsenio said, looking around the room. "We need to figure out how to fill the gaps left by Jack and David. We can't afford to be shorthanded at a time like this."

One of his men, a stocky Italian named Luca, spoke up. "I've already started looking into potential recruits. I know a few guys who might be a good fit, but I'll keep looking until we find the right people."

Arsenio nodded, appreciating Luca's initiative. "Good. We need people we can trust and rely on. It's not just about finding the best fighters, it's about finding people who fit in with the team and can work together seamlessly."

Another man, a slim and athletic man named Carlos, spoke up. "We also need to consider the emotional impact of these losses. The men are still dealing with the shock and grief, and it's affecting their focus and performance."

Arsenio sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I know. I've been keeping an eye on them, making sure they're coping as well as they can. But we can't let our emotions get in the way of our work. We're all feeling it, but we have a job to do."

The men nodded in agreement, their expressions betraying the inner turmoil and pain they were all feeling. They knew that they had a responsibility to uphold and that they couldn't allow themselves to be consumed by grief and anger.

"We'll get through this," Arsenio said firmly. "We always do. We'll honour the memories of Jack and David by staying strong and focused on our work. And we'll make sure that their sacrifices don't go to waste."

The men nodded again, their resolve strengthening at their leader's words. They knew that he was right, that they had to keep moving forward and doing what needed to be done, no matter how difficult it got.

"Alright," Arsenio said, glancing around the room. "Let's keep working on finding potential recruits and keeping an eye on the men. If anyone needs to talk or needs some time off, make sure they know they can come to me or each other."

"And one last thing," he said, his voice taking on a slightly more stern tone. "No more unnecessary risks. We can't afford to lose any more men, and we can't afford to get careless. I want everyone on their A-game at all times, got it?"

The men nodded in understanding, their expressions solemn. They knew that Arsenio's words were not just a warning, but a declaration of his unwavering commitment to the safety and security of the team.

One of Arsenio's men, an observant and perceptive man named Mark, noticed the ultrasound picture on his leader's desk. He picked it up and looked at it with curiosity, a smile tugging at the corner of his lips. "Is this...?" He asked, holding up the picture for Arsenio to see.

Arsenio looked up from his work and saw the ultrasound picture in Mark's hand. He smiled softly and nodded. "Yeah, it is," he said, his voice filled with tenderness and pride.

Mark's eyes widened in surprise and excitement. "That's great news, boss," he said, a wide grin spreading across his face. "Congratulations."

"Thanks," Arsenio replied, his expression softening as he looked at the picture. "It's definitely a big change for me, but I'm looking forward to it."

"So, when is the little one due?" Mark asked, still holding onto the picture and studying it intently.

"In a few months," Arsenio said, his voice taking on a note of both excitement and nervousness. "It's all happening pretty fast, but I'm trying to stay on top of things and make sure Indira and the baby are both taken care of."

"You're going to be a great father, boss," Mark said, setting the picture down on the desk and giving Arsenio a reassuring pat on the shoulder. "I do not doubt it."

Arsenio smiled faintly, appreciating his friend's words of support. "Thanks, Mark," he said. "I'm doing my best to be there for Indira and the baby, and I know it won't always be easy. But I'm committed to making this work, no matter what it takes."

Mark nodded, his expression serious. "We're all here to support you, boss. Whatever you need, just let us know. We're a team, and that includes you and your family now."

Arsenio's eyes softened further, touched by the loyalty and support of his men. "I appreciate that," he said, his voice filled with gratitude. "It means a lot to me to know that I have people I can count on, both for the job and personal matters."

Mark smiled again, his excitement and enthusiasm returning as he spoke. "I can't wait to meet the little one," he said. "And I bet the guys will be fighting over who gets to be the cool uncle to this kid."

Arsenio let out a chuckle, amused by the thought of his gruff and tough men acting like adoring uncles to his child. "I do not doubt it," he said. "They're all going to be fighting tooth and nail to spoil this little one rotten."

"And you can count on them to protect the little one too," Mark said, his expression turning serious. "You know that we'll do whatever it takes to keep them safe."

"I know," Arsenio said, his voice quieter and more subdued. "I trust all of you implicitly, and I know that you'll do everything in your power to protect my family. I couldn't ask for a better team."
