On the other side of town, Mark watched as I sat on the couch, my expression still reflecting the weight of the emotions from earlier. He could see the pain in my eyes, but also the resilience behind it. Knowing that I was going through a difficult time, he carefully approached me and sat down next to me. Mark wrapped his arms around me, pulling me closer to his side. He didn't say anything, simply holding me in a silent show of support.

"I think I'm okay right now," I said gently.

Mark smiled softly, his arms remaining around me. "That's good," he replied, his voice gentle and caring. "It's okay if you're not completely fine though. You've been through a lot today."

"I'm just happy that the truth is out, I knew he wasn't emotionally there for me. I'm just glad that we can just be friends," I replied.

Mark nodded in understanding, his hand gently rubbing my back. "It takes a lot of courage to face the truth and make that kind of decision," he praised. "And it's good that you're both able to move to a place of friendship. That's important, especially for Tenebroso."

He looked at me closely, seeing the mixture of pain and relief in my eyes. "How are you feeling though?" he asked gently. "It's okay if you're not completely okay yet. Emotions are complicated and it takes time to process everything."

"I think the crying helped get a lot of emotions out, I think I have held that in for a few months, it will be hard seeing him as just a friend since he was my first everything. But I know I need to be strong for myself and my son," I looked at him.

Mark's expression softened as he listened to me speak. "You are strong," he reassured me. "And it's good that you finally let those emotions out. Crying can be a powerful release and it's important to give yourself that space to feel everything."

Mark held me more closely, his warm embrace providing a sense of comfort and security. "And remember, you don't have to be strong all the time," he reminded me. "It's okay to lean on me or other friends when you need some support. We all need a shoulder to lean on sometimes."

"I love all his men, all of them are so nice. But I'm closer to you and I know how much you relate things to me," I held onto him gently.

Mark smiled warmly, his heart swelling with the love and trust I showed in him. "I'm honoured that you feel closer to me, and I'm glad that I can relate to you on a deeper level," he said, his voice softer than usual. "You can always count on me to be here for you, no matter what."

He pulled me a bit closer, relishing the feeling of my body against his. "You know, you don't have to be alone in any of this," he reminded me. "I'll be here to listen, to support, and to help in any way I can. You're not alone, and you don't have to face any of this by yourself."

"I know, I guess the future is the key to everything," I spoke softly.

Mark nodded, his hand rubbing my back soothingly. "You're right," he agreed. "The future's uncertain, but it's also full of possibilities. And for now, the best thing to do is to take things one day at a time, and focus on taking care of yourself and Tenebroso."

"I'm just glad Arsenio didn't go coldhearted and just left to not take care of Tenebroso," I replied.

Mark smiled faintly, a hint of respect in his expression. "Arsenio's a good man," he acknowledged. "He might be struggling with his own emotions, but he's still doing the right thing by stepping up for Tenebroso's sake. It's a step in the right direction for co-parenting."

"And who knows," he said, a hint of hope in his voice. "Maybe in time, you both will find a good and healthy way of co-parenting that benefits Tenebroso and yourselves."

Mark squeezed my arm gently, his presence reassuring and calming. "For now though, just focus on yourself and your son. Everything else will fall into place in time, as long as you're both committed to making things work."

He drew me closer again, his arm wrapping around my shoulders. "And remember, you're not alone in any of this. You've got me, and the other men. We're all here to support you every step of the way."

Mark smiled warmly as he felt my face nuzzle into his chest. He held me close, his strong, protective embrace enveloping me like a comforting shield. "You're safe here," he reassured me, his voice a gentle murmur. "I won't let anything hurt you."

He held me like that for a few more moments, simply enjoying the feel of my body against his, and the peaceful silence that enveloped me. Finally, he spoke again, his voice soft and comforting. "You're strong, you know that? Stronger than you think. You'll get through this."

Mark chuckled softly as he felt my body relaxing against his, my movements becoming slower and more sluggish. "Getting sleepy?" he asked, his voice filled with amusement and affection. I nodded slowly in response.

Mark smiled, his hand gently rubbing my back. "It's okay, you can close your eyes if you want," he assured me. "You've had a long and emotional day, you need your rest."

"You are really something else Mark... thank you," I said sleepily.

Mark's expression softened, his heart swelling with tenderness at my words. He gently brushed a strand of hair away from my face, his touch light and warm. "And you are a strong, beautiful, and incredible woman," he whispered, his voice filled with admiration. "Thank you for trusting me."

He continued gently stroking my hair, watching as my eyes began to close. "Rest now," he said, his voice a soothing murmur. "I'm right here, and I'm not going anywhere."

Mark held me close, continuing to stroke my hair as he felt my body relax further into his embrace. He could see how exhausted I was, both physically and emotionally, and he was determined to stay by my side until I fell asleep.
