He stood there silently processing the words written on that page. Part of his mind was stunned while another part was confused but in a good way. His heart was beginning to beat faster as he silently read those words over and over in his mind while his hands clutched the diary tighter.

He was overwhelmed by a rush of thoughts and feelings. He felt excited, happy, and a bit shocked, but he had to remain calm and silent so that he didn't wake me up. He continued to silently look at the words written on the page while his heartbeat got faster as he still tried to process what he had just seen written.

He silently turned the page and began skimming through more pages of my diary, trying to find more about how I felt about him. He was extremely curious and his heartbeat was still fast as he continued to silently read through the pages.

He continued skimming through the pages until he found another page that was freshly written on. He stopped skimming and began to slowly read what I had written on this page.

'I do love him. I know I do.'

He felt his heart skip a beat again as he silently read the words on the page. He was in a bit of disbelief, he couldn't believe what he was seeing and reading on the pages. He could feel the heat beginning to build up in his face. He was flustered and extremely happy, but he had to remain calm and silent to not wake me up. He was so shocked that he didn't really notice that he was gently clenching his free hand into a fist as he read the words on the page.

His eyes skimmed through more of the words written on the page, trying to see if I wrote anything else that could hint at me loving him. He felt a sort of warmness in his chest, his heart was beating fast as he continued to read more from my diary silently.

He slowly closed the diary and silently held it in his hands. He was in disbelief that I wrote those words in my diary. He was happy that I loved him, he was ecstatic that he had gotten confirmation that I loved him. But he was also surprised and confused about how he didn't notice, he tried to think back on my behaviour, searching for any hints that he missed from my behaviour that would've signalled I had feelings for him earlier.

After standing there silently for a few more moments, he began to think more clearly as he looked at me in my bed again. He remembered how distraught I was when that girl ruined my moment, and he knew I didn't want to celebrate any more birthdays. He knew that my birthday yesterday may have been ruined, but he suddenly had an idea pop into his head.

He placed the diary back on the desk and walked over to my bed. He stood on the side of the bed before speaking quietly, his tone was soft. "Indira." He reached his hand and placed it on my shoulder, gently shaking my shoulder to try and slowly wake me up.

He watched as I stirred awake, he was still gently holding onto my shoulder as he spoke. "Wake up." He said in a soft tone, gently shaking my shoulder again, but a bit harder than before just so I would fully wake up completely.

He continued to quietly watch as I slowly woke up, he watched closely as I began to stir more and sat up in bed. He stopped shaking my shoulder as I sat up in bed and he began to think about his idea for a small moment before speaking up again. "I want to ask you something." He said in a soft tone.

"It's so early-" I rubbed my eyes.

He chuckled a bit when I complained about him waking me up, he thought that I looked cute while still being sleepy and tired. He spoke again once I dropped my hand from my eyes. "I know, I know, but I had an idea and I wanted to tell you about it.". He said in a soft tone, gently placing his hand on my shoulder again.

"What is the idea?" I asked sleepily.

He silently looked at me, noticing how tired I still looked and how my hair was messy and my eyes were barely staying open as I spoke. He thought I looked adorable while still being tired and sleepy. He thought about my tired and sleepy appearance for a moment before he spoke again, his tone was still soft and a small hint of excitement was in his voice. "You probably don't want to celebrate any more birthdays anymore, right?"

"Yeah, I did mention that. Why?" I looked up at him.

He held back another bout of chuckles seeing how I continued to look tired and sleepy, he continued speaking, his tone still soft and his eyes were locked with mine. "Well, what if we didn't have a normal birthday party to celebrate? What if instead, I took you out to do whatever you wanted just the two of us."

"Really?" My eyes widened.

He lightly gripped my shoulder a bit as he spoke. "Yes, yes really. Whatever you want. It's all about you for the day."

He was feeling happy, seeing how I instantly liked the idea of him taking me out to celebrate my birthday even if it was just the two of us, not a big party that he usually threw. "Just say whatever you want to do and I'll do it, it'll be just the two of us."

"Let me get ready, can we go to the mall?" I asked him gently.

He nodded his head at me as he spoke, his tone was still soft. "Of course we can go to the mall, take as long as you need to get ready." He said he was feeling excited that I immediately had an idea of what I wanted to do and he silently thought about how he was going to make sure this day went perfectly for me.
