The business trip he was going on quickly turned into a month-long stay away from me, it was not planned and was forced upon him by some of the partners he was supposed to meet in the first week. During the first week, he had been constantly worried about me, not being there to see how I was left him with a pain in his heart. He had attempted to call me and message me, but the calls and messages continued to go unanswered.

The second week he was away, the worry he felt for me had become almost unbearable. He still tried to call and message me but there was still no answer. By the beginning of the third week, he was starting to grow increasingly desperate, the weeks of being away from me and having no answer to his calls or messages were starting to take a toll on his mind.

By the fourth week, the pain in his heart had become unbearable, he couldn't take it any longer. Every waking moment he was thinking of me and how I was doing. He was desperate for the chance just to make sure I was alright. The desperation he was now feeling was almost taking over his every thought.

Despite the business trip not being planned for the full month, he cut the trip short and quickly returned home, the month away from me had turned into a living hell for him and he couldn't take it any longer. As soon as he had packed up his things and said his goodbyes, he left to start the journey back home to me. The journey back home felt like torture to him, he was desperate to return home and make sure I was alright as quickly as he could.

As soon as he arrived home, his heart was racing and every fibre of his being was telling him to get to me as quickly as he could. He quickly entered the house and headed straight upstairs, desperate to check on me.

As he drove up to the driveway of his estate, he saw me walking up the drive as well. Immediately a wave of relief washed over him, seeing me there and walking meant I was alright. He quickly pulled the vehicle to a stop and got out, he quickly walked towards me in a near frantic manner, a mixture of worry and relief written on his face.

He called out to me as he approached me, his voice a mixture of relief and worry. "Where have you been? I've been trying to call and message you for weeks!"

"I know, I have been sending you texts but they weren't sending," I replied walking up to him.

He stopped in front of me as I walked closer to him, his heart still thumping in his chest as he continued to feel a mixture of worry and relief. He looked at me as I replied that I had sent him texts all this time but that they hadn't been sending, his look of relief turning further towards worry. He then spoke in a quiet and soft tone, his voice still filled with worry. "Why didn't you answer any of my calls...?"

"I couldn't I would have had to pay extra to answer the call, I'm sorry," I said gently.

His expression then softened slightly at my gentle apology, he knew I wouldn't have intentionally ignored him, but it still hurt that he had been unable to contact me to see if I was alright. "You had me worried. I don't know what I would have done if anything had happened to you while I was gone."

He continued to look at me, his heart was still racing from the worrying the past month had done to him. Seeing me in front of him now and knowing that I was safe made him feel so much better. He then spoke quietly and softly, his eyes looking over my body to make sure I was okay. "I missed you..."

"I missed you too," as I moved closer and hugged him, he immediately wrapped his arms around me and embraced me tightly. He held me close to him, his heart continuing to thump in his chest as he silently relished being reunited with me. He held me for several moments, not saying anything, just holding me tight and enjoying having me against him again.

After several moments, he spoke quietly and softly, his arms still wrapped around me and holding me close to him. "You have no idea how much I missed you..." After a few moments more of silence, he began to gently begin caressing my back as he continued to hold me, he had missed me so much while he was away. He enjoyed feeling me pressed up against him, it was like a drug to him.

As I looked up and gently kissed him, he immediately pressed his lips against mine, savouring the feel of my lips against his. His arms held me even tighter as he returned the kiss, his hold on me becoming firmer as he relished the feel of having me in his arms again.

He continued to kiss me, his tongue entering my mouth and exploring my mouth with a familiar ease. He had missed feeling my lips against his and tasting me, the past month away from me felt like an eternity to him.

His tongue explored my mouth eagerly as if trying to make up for the time apart from me. He held me closer and tighter, his hands beginning to slide down my back and caress me gently while he continued to kiss me.

He suddenly broke the kiss, but only to immediately begin planting kisses down my jawline and then to my neck. He continued to move down my neck, his lips gently kissing and lightly sucking on my skin.

He continued to kiss and suck on my neck, his hands caressing and wandering all over my body. It was like he was trying to make up for all the time he hadn't been able to touch and feel me, he had missed feeling my body against his more than he ever thought possible.
