.

Anthony woke up from the night before. Dani was sleeping beside him. He was cold and sweaty.

Am I sick?

He moved a bit and got up from the floor. He heard voices coming from upstairs.

"We have to dispose of them, Tom!"

"We can't leave any trace!"

Anthony felt a cold shock running down his spine. He knew he was going to die. Dani was going to die. But the fate didn't seem so present until now.

Somehow he needed to find a way to avoid death. But how?

He went back down to where him and Dani were previously sitting.

"Dani. Get up." She shifted.

"What's going on?" She asked.

"We need to find a way to get out of here."

"Huh? Why?" She seemed dazed.

"Blink 182 is talking about killing us." He gripped her wrist nervously.

"Anthony." Dani looked at him with hopeless eyes.

"Didn't you know from the start, we're all going to die."

Her hair was messy and taken out of her ponytail. She looked rough.

Anthony froze. "We don't know that."

"But we do."

"We're going to find a way out of here."

Just then, the basement door creaked open.

"Breakfast time." Travis brought down two trays of what looked like a decent meal.

Dani moved her head up to see what he brought. There were apples, yogurt, pancakes.

Travis set the trays down on the floor of the basement. "Enjoy."

Anthony walked over to the food. Travis walked back up the steps and went through the door.

"Don't eat this." Anthony told Dani.

"Do you think it's poison."

"It must be." He sighed. "They would never feed us this good of a meal. Unless they wanted us dead."

He looked around. He noticed the basement wasn't all that dark anymore. A beam of soft light was coming from up at the basement door.

The door wasn't fully shut.

"DANI!" Anthony whispered. "Stay here. Promise me?"

"I- yeah sure."

He ran up the steps, being careful not to make a sound. He made it to the door and looked through the crack. Nobody was around.

What if it's a trap?

Do or die trying, then.

Anthony went out of the basement, fresh light hitting his skin. For what seemed like the first time in months.

He carefully walked over to a small office room. He checked to make sure nobody was in it, then he went over to a nearby phone.

Yes.

He didn't hear any noise from Blink182. Maybe they were in town now, or maybe on the third floor.

He dialed a familar number and heard someone answer it.

"Hello?"

"Billie, I need you to come and break us out. It's an emergency."

"We'll be right there."

Anthony hung up the phone and tiptoed back to the basement. He reached the door and opened it.

Tom was standing behind the basement door, right on the steps.

"Back so soon, my love?"
