...5 years ago, Salvatore Boarding School...

Both Hope and Theodore might be only 10, but they're clearly not unaware of their surroundings.

Far from that actually.

Despite Rosalind's efforts in making sure they keep contact with Klaus, it's clear she was struggling on her own. Things we don't usually tell children.

That's one of the reasons as to why they sneaked out of their respective rooms at the Boarding School, just to 'see' their father.

In one way or another.

Lately, their magic has been increased incredibly and their own grimoires are certainly jewels for any witch out there.

So, entering the astral plane to see Klaus, wasn't hard. Not at all.

"Demitte moi, demitte moi"

The hard part was to see what Klaus was actually doing.

Currently in one of his missions of killing his enemies and the enemies of his enemies.

Both children gasp seeing a real scenario of a war and their father standing there with his back turned towards them, just as he rips the heart out of a woman.

"Dad!"

Klaus' whole being stiffened when he heard the little voices.

It can't be!

When he turned around, still holding a bloody heart in his hand and saw the horrified looks in their blue eyes, he could only wish to die that moment.

"GET OUT!"

Theodore and Hope linked their hands, closing their eyes, before disappearing, leaving Klaus to destroy whatever was left of that place in pure fury.

When the twins came back to reality, the whole room was upside down, the door opened and Alaric standing there with some other teachers, all of them clearly concerned.

The rest of the students only saw a big commotion followed by Rosalind entering through the front door, a few hours later in a rush, then, leaving with both children crying in her arms.

The Mikaelson twins didn't return for long two weeks.

...Now, Mikaelson Compound...

Freya was sat in one of the couches, at the family room Rosalind managed to built on the Compound. Somewhere they can be together, talk, have dinner sometimes, watch movies and play games.

Klaus finally arrives, seeing Freya there.

"Sister! The years have been kind to you!" Klaus smiles at her.

Freya gasps standing up, running towards her brother, embracing him.

"Well, you know, just sun block, the love of a good woman and literal witchcraft" Freya says "You can't stay! The twins are at home"
