...Mikaelson Compound...

The night has fallen upon the Compound.

Rosalind was asleep in her room. The only sound was her steady breath and the calm thuds of her heartbeat.

Believe it or not, she's the world's vampire heaviest sleeper.

Downstairs, in one of the rooms, Klaus, Elijah, Marcel, Rebekah, Freya, Kol, Davina and the twins were either shouting or almost turning the Compound upside down.

"We did everything right!"

"Something is wrong!"

"We must do something!"

"The love of my bloody life doesn't remembers me!"

The twins were sitting on the couch, with both of their grimoires in front of them.

"This doesn't make many any sense" Freya murmurs "she doesn't remembers a single thing about us, yet knows who Adam is and that they're engaged"

Freya's mind was on fire.

She never really worked with the type of spell the twins used. Not because she didn't know about or maybe was too afraid. Freya just couldn't.

Blood linked spells are extremely dangerous for witches to use. Most of them, if dare to try, ended up losing their magic or even dying. In a way, it's like using the power embedded in your soul to create space of changing, creating and destroying.

That's why, the consequences are never really known.

While the rest of them continue to argue, the oldest Mikaelson goes and turns the grimoire towards her, examining it closely.

Blood, space restriction, finding a soul, bond magic, raw power, best connection...

Wait!

Best connection?

"Best connection..." she whispers, trying to find the parts in her mind that could tell anything about this.

They all stopped at that.

"What did you guys meant with 'best connection' ?" Freya asks her niece and nephew.

The twins frowned.

"We had to use Hollow's own force to destroy itself" Theodore says "the nexus vorti was a mere consequence"

"Mom died as an ordinary vampire, so if we wanted for her to be herself again, we had to find some connection with it" Hope continues.

They finally seem to be getting somewhere.

"Seeing that she turned into a hybrid after giving birth because of the magic shared in blood, only Theo and I could do it" she says.

"That's why we used the best connection we have with her" Theodore says "through our blood"

Freya nods, still in deep thought.
