Thèrèse stood on the deck of one of the ships, watching as the members of Safe Haven gathered to say their goodbyes to the frontline team.

The sea around them was rough, its water lapping at the sides of the ship like eager fingers grasping at the wood.

Thèrèse noticed the bags packed with essentials, the provisions and equipment that they would need for the upcoming battle. The air was heavy with tension and emotion as everyone prepared to say farewell.

Bea stood before Tsahìk, fidgeting nervously as the elder woman prepared a small medicine for her.

Bea knew that her memory triggers could be unpredictable and dangerous, and Tsahìk's medicine would help to keep her grounded if one should strike while they were away.

Tsahìk approached Bea with the small medicine in her hands. Her eyes were calm and wise as always, yet there was a gentle understanding in her gaze.

"This medicine will help to keep you grounded, my child. It will quiet the voices from the past that may try to overwhelm you." Tsahìk extended one hand, offering the medicine to Bea.

Bea took the medicine from Tsahìk, clutching it tightly in her hand. She took the medicine from Tsahìk, studying it for a moment before looking up at the elder woman.

"Thank you, Tsahìk," she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper.

Thèrèse watched the interaction, her heart going out to Bea. She knew how hard it was to deal with the constant trauma of the past, and she could only imagine what Bea was feeling in that moment.

With a final nod to Tsahìk, Bea turned and approached Thèrèse, her expression pensive.

"I hope this medicine does its job," she said softly, holding up the small medicine.

Thèrèse laid a comforting hand on Bea's shoulder, giving it a reassuring squeeze.

"It will," she said, her tone firm and confident. "You'll be alright, I promise. We'll look out for you."

Bea nodded, her eyes meeting Thèrèse's. The fear and uncertainty still lingered behind her gaze, but there was a hint of reassurance at the sound of Thèrèse's words.

"I trust you," she said quietly. "And I trust Tsahìk. I just... I don't want to be a liability out there."

Thèrèse smiled reassuringly at Bea. "You won't be a liability," she said, her voice firm. "You're resilient, and you have that medicine to help you. PLUS, you have me. I won't let anything bad happen to you, okay?"

Bea nodded, a small smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. "Okay," she murmured, "I trust you."

Thèrèse could see that Bea was still nervous, still worried about the future and what it held. But she knew that Bea was strong, that she was a survivor.

And she knew that with Tsahìk's medicine and her own support, Bea would make it through the battle.

Nancy and Sonya sat side by side on the deck of the ship, their expressions serious and focused as they prepared for the upcoming battle.

Nancy was checking and double-checking their equipment, making sure they had everything they needed. Sonya, meanwhile, was sharpening her knife silently.

"You ready for this?" Nancy asked, glancing over at her sister.

Sonya looked up from her knife, meeting Nancy's gaze. A determined expression hardened her features, the blade of her knife glinting in the sunlight.

"I'm ready," she replied, her voice calm and steady. "I'm not afraid of what's coming."

Nancy nodded, giving her sister a small smile. "Good. We're in this together, okay?"
