Hey! I promise this is sweet! Well, bittersweet! But trust me!

Deep in the meadow, under the willow

Cato could her his wife's voice from the other room.

A bed of grass, a soft green pillow

He got up and slowly walked into his daughter's nursery.

Lay down your head, and close your eyes

He joined her in singing the lullaby, and she looked up at him, smiling.

And when they open, the sun will rise

He rubbed her back and stared down at the young girl in his wife's arms.

Here it's safe, here it's warm

He stroked his daughter's head.

Here the daisies guard you from every harm

A tear streamed down his cheek.

Here your dreams are sweet

His mother used to sing this to him.

And tomorrow brings them true

He leaned his head against his wife's, and they both smiled.

Here is the place... where I love you

He wiped the tear off his face and kissed the baby on the forehead before the woman next to him placed her in the crib.

"You sang her lullaby," he whispered as they made their way to their room.

"Of course. It's the only one that calms her down."

If you didn't get it, Clove is the wife!! :)
