Clove sighed. "I miss my blue eyes."

"Blue eyes?" Glimmer raised her eyebrows. "But you don't have-"

"No. My blue eyes." She pointed to a picture of her and Cato; they were on the beach, all wet and sandy and Cato was giving her a piggyback ride.

"Ooohhh, your blue eyes. I get it now."

"Yeah," Clove frowned. "He's at ice hockey practice and-"

"Clover?" The front door opened.

"Cato!" Clove jumped up from off the couch and ran to Cato.

The tall blonde dropped all of his gear to pick Clove up and spin her around.

He placed her back down on the ground and gave her a kiss.

"Hey, Clover," he chuckled. "You miss me?"

"She was just talking about how she missed you," Glimmer explained, folding her arms.

"Was she now?" Cato turned to Clove, smirking. She nodded.

"I'm sure Glimmer was about to say how much she missed Marvel, too," Clove rolled her eyes.

"Not as much as you miss your boyfriend."

"Well, I'm here now, and Marvel will be too." Cato ran a hand through his hair and wrapped an arm around Clove's waist, pulling her in close. She could feel the heat radiating off his body.

"And I'm glad!" Clove grinned.

"Ahh, come here!" Cato lifted Clove up and gave her a hug.

When he put her down, he continued speaking. "You won't mind if I go shower, will you, baby?"

"Of course not! As long as we can watch a movie tonight."

"Only if you let me pick."

"But-"

He pouted at her.

"Fine," she grumbled. "But I don't wanna watch any Christmas movies. It's August."

"We're watching a Christmas movie!" He smiled and placed another kiss on Clove's forehead before grabbing his gear and heading upstairs.
