"Oh, yeah! She totally should've ended up with Andy!" Cato smiles as we sit on the couch, watching Modern Family. He strokes my hair with one hand, and the other arm is wrapped around my waist.
"Exactly! And what about Alex?"
"She should've stayed with the fireman!"
"Yes! Thank you!" It's nice that I can finally have somebody to talk to about my favorite show. He just gets it.

"UUGGGHHHHHH!!" I groan, slamming the front door shut behind me. I throw my bag and keys on the counter, slide my shoes off, and collapse on the floor.
"Clover?! What is it?!" Cato comes running to me.
"Work," I hiss.
"Oh. I feel that." He sits down next to me, a look of sympathy on his face. "Wanna tell me about it?" He strokes my head.
"Nope."
"Alright. Just come here, baby." He gestures toward his chest and lap, and I oblige. I move closer to him and lay my head in his lap, shutting my eyes. He plays with my hair as I relax.
