So the title is from the song "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" by Shaboozey, and it's like my favorite song rn.
Maybe I'm basic but idc I love it and I fucking love country Clato so you're getting this
Put that song on while you read this, please. It is highly recommended and really is what ties this oneshot together.

"You like dancin'?" Cato asked, looking straight at the girl next to him. She was good looking, might he add.
She had on dark blue bellbottoms, a fringe top with big sleeves, and brown boots with cute designs on them. Her long, wavy dark hair was down, tousled under her cute cowgirl hat.
She chuckled, taking a sip of her whiskey.
"For sure," she smiled. "One of my favorite things."
"Have you ever danced like someone from Tennessee?"
"Not well, that's for sure," she laughed.
"Then let me show you."
She looked up at him. "Really?"
"Of course, darlin'. Care to dance?" He held his hand out.
"Don't mind if I do," she smirked, taking his hand and following him onto the dance floor.
The song 'A Bar Song (Tipsy)' started to play. She knew that song well. It was her favorite one.
He smirked at her. "We just start dancin' here. I'm sure you'll catch on quick enough. You seem like a fast enough learner."
"Oh, I am," she grinned back.
She watched as people started to line dance, making movements with their feet swift and accurate, as if they could do this in their sleep. She wouldn't be surprised if they could.
As she examined them, she moved her feet along with what she hoped was enough accuracy not to bump into anyone.
Thankfully enough, it was. She quickly found her rhythm and started smiling as she fell in step with everyone else in the bar.
She did the simple box steps, clapped, and moved her hips as they did. Her grin widened as she saw the tall, blonde boy she had hung out with this evening look over at her and smirk.
"You were right, you are a fast learner," he told her, his Tennessean accent thick in his voice.
"Of course I am," she smiled, clapping to the beat.
"You enjoyin' it?"
"Definitely."
They danced side by side, clapping their hands and moving their boots.
At one point, the music changed and they found themselves dancing with each other. He spun her around, grinning at her as she laughed, her hair moving with the rest of her.
She was a natural, and it only made her more attractive. What was he to do? He knew she wouldn't be here long. She was just visiting Tennessee. He'd just have to enjoy the time he had with her, he guessed.
At one point, the music changed to something she definitely knew.
She smirked at the blonde boy as she made her way to the middle of the floor, already anxious to start dancing again.
People filed in next to her, all anticipating the dance.
She smiled, moving her legs to the rhythm as she waited for the actual dancing part of the song to start.
Her best friend, Glimmer, made her way next to her, and they exchanged knowing looks before preparing themselves.
They got a brand new dance, you gotta move your muscle
The speakers boomed, only exciting the two girls more as they waited.
Brand new dance, it's called the Cupid shuffle
They looked at each other once again before starting to dance.
To the right, to the right, to the right, to the right
They moved to the right four times, one step at a time.
To the left, to the left, to the left, to the left
They did the same movements, but to the left.
Now kick, now kick, now kick, now kick
They kicked four times, laughing.
Now walk it by yourself, now walk it by yourself
They turned to their left, switching sides.
Down, down, down your dance, do your dance
They repeated the four steps to the right once again as more people made their way to the floor.
She looked at the boy. Cato, she remembered him introducing himself as. What an interesting name. She told him hers was Clove.
His spiked blonde hair was a nice contrast to his bright blue eyes. He was much taller and larger than her, considering she was super short and he was super ripped.
Cato looked like he didn't know what to do, and Clove chuckled at him for it.
Down, down, down your dance, do your dance
Clove and Glimmer took their steps to the left, loving the atmosphere of the bar. It was fun and lively and not like the creepy ones they had back home.
Eventually Cato, and the boy that Glimmer had met earlier, - Marvel, Clove heard - joined the girls on the dance floor. They looked like complete idiots as they tried to learn the Cupid shuffle, but they did it anyway.
They eventually got it and fell into rhythm with the girls that had caught their attention earlier, just like Clove had done with the other dances.
During the kicks, they jokingly made a kick line, laughing so hard at the ridiculousness of it that they could barely breathe.
When the song ended, they all high-fived each other, making their way back to a table they were at. They sat down, all taking breaths and large sips of their alcoholic beverages.
They made jokes, laughing at the times where the boys almost tripped over their own feet.
"You almost pushed me into the bar!" Clove laughed at Cato, sipping her whiskey.
"I'm usually better at this stuff, y'know? I've just never done that dance before."
"And Clove's never done the dance she just learned!" Glimmer joked. "Well, never done it well. That's beside the point!" She waved it off. "She did better than you!"
"Cato's... interesting, I can tell you that," Marvel chucked, sipping his beer as he placed a hand on Cato's shoulder. His accent was almost the same as Cato's, but less heavy.
"Oh, you hush!" He hissed, but it was no use, considering he was a giggling mess.
The fact that they would have to leave this place in a week was a fact that Clove and Glimmer pushed to the back of their minds. For now, they would just be here, enjoying the two funny, wonderfully good-looking men in front of them.
