Kali woke up the next morning wrapped in the arms of her lover. She turned to face him and stared into his beautiful sleeping face.

His face so peaceful and at ease. She wondered what went on inside his brain. What was he dreaming about. Has he ever masturbated to another girl while we've been together?

Kali shook those thoughts by rising out of bed, after all, today was a big day for her, she didn't need any distractions.

Kali did her early morning routine aftwards glanced at the clock that hung above her Tv, 7:45am.

The best part about being a therapist is that you can make your own schedule.

Kali sat on the edge of the bed and scanned the todo list she made last night in her Notes app - Start work, get groceries, hit the mall, talk to mom and optional, call Von. She hadn't spoke to her mother in the past couple of weeks, so she had mentally prepared her to do that after work.

Kali also planned on calling Von and apologizing. It would crush her for life is Von missed her graduation because of something so petty.

Kali could feel Ken turning over in her bed and it reminded her of last night. Kali felt guilty laying down and having sex with Ken after that session she had in her head with Von. She mentally face palmed her since every time she thought about it. What was I thinking?

She didn't even know she was capable of that. Kali and Von's relationship was strictly platonic. They loved each other more than life itself, but as friends; as best friends. She never looked at him in that way and didn't want to start.

She couldn't believe herself, she's going try to keep her mind off of it, but those thoughts are going to take a while to go away.

She shook her body to rid the guilt that was building up and before going only the kitchen to prepare her morning coffee. Made perfectly each morning, the aroma of freshly brewed Hennessy with a couple shots of Tampico Citrus Punch. The bold flavors and beloved texture transported her to a cozy state of mind every morning, similar to being wrapped in a fuzzy blanket. The picker upper setting her day up to be filled with energy, positivity and a sense of calmness.

Maybe this problem is getting a bit more serious.

Kali carried her soft pink Stanley with her like it was her child. Never did you see her without her Stanley. And there was never a time that her Stanley didn't have a single dose of liquor in it.

Kali walked into the bathroom and took her hair out of her bonnet. Her hair simultaneous falling down her back. She brushed her hair and flat ironed it, this took about 30 minutes.

She put in all her face jewelry, which included her septum and her nose ring. Then she went over to her jewelry box and put on her pandora bracelets and necklaces.

She looked at the clock, 8:54am.

She still had time to chill around so she thought she should try and give Von a call.

She sat on the edge of her bed before she went to his contact and stared at. Should I ?

Deep down she felt like Von should be the one apologizing and reaching out, not her, but so did Von.

Meanwhile, Von had sat in his home at 7:54am, sitting on the edge of his bed staring at Kali's contact on his phone.

He knew around this time Kali would be up getting ready for work and that's what kept him from calling, also the fact that he feels he didn't do anything wrong.
