Kali woke up the next morning, next to Flow, who was wide awake on her cellphone, scrolling through TikTok. Kali turned on her side to face her. "Goodmorning," She huffed out.
Flow gave her a soft smile before setting her phone down and turning on her side also, so they were both facing each other. "Goodmorning cuz. Wait what the fuck -"
Flow grabbed Kali face by her chin and examined her eye. "Kali, who the fuck did that?"
Kali moved her face out of Flows grip. "It was an accident. It's nothing serious."
Flow sat up on the bed, her face scrunched up in disgust. "Is that why Ken wasn't at your graduation?"
Kali shook her head 'No, before getting up to use the bathroom and Flow trailed behind her. "So why he wasn't there then?" Flow asked leaning against the doorway with her arms crossed.
Kali looked up at Flow and it was obvious she was trying to control her anger. "Just mind your business Flow."
Flow let out a chuckled before storming off. "So you just gone let a nigga put his hands on you. That's the type of female you is?"
Kali let out a loud groan before getting up off the toilet. She did not feel like dealing with this, let alone having to explain something to someone who would never understand.
She walked back into the room and Flow was sitting on the rim of the bed with a blunt in her hand.
"Flow it was an accident. Goddamn bitch, mind your business." Kali retorted. "You should know I'm not finna let a nigga just dry put his hands on me."
Flow placed her hands up in defeat. "I'm just making sure."
Kali sat next to Flow on the bed and she passed the blunt to her. "So, how was it an accident?" Flow asked looking at her eye.
Kali mentally rolled her eyes, knowing that Flow wasn't going to let this go. "You might as well tell me. Cause I'ma keep asking." Flow said.
"He dropped my phone and it hit my eye. It was an accident, he apologized and everything." Kali lied. Ken in fact did not apologize.
Flow scrunched up her bottom lip in confusion. "Dropped the phone on your eye?" She asked. "How the fuck that happen, how you drop a phone on somebody eye."
Flow was beginning to question the answer she was giving her, if she didn't start making sense soon this was going to turn into something else.
Kali layed backwards on the bed, feeling ambushed by all these questions. She should've just went to sleep with her makeup on, she wasn't in her right mind last night, so she wasn't thinking. "Omg Flow all these questions are giving me a headache."
"Nah you need to start making sense before me and Zach to go find this nigga and ask him."
Kali rolled her eyes. "I was on the floor and he was hovering over me with it in his hand, he was trying to lift me up and the phone fell out his hand." Kali lied. "Me and Ken are good, he was trying to help me but the phone fell. Please let it go."
Flow hummed at the scenario Kali gave her, still a little iffy, but if her cousin is telling her it's good. She trust Kali's ability to stick up for herself. "Alright whatever."
