His eyes burned with fury as he assessed the situation. I pulled the trigger, watching as his body crumpled to the ground, and Eve let out a heart-wrenching scream just before I seized her.

"Let me go, no!" she cried out, struggling against my grip. I glanced at her as she stared at Ivan's lifeless form, shock etched across her face.

"No, you're coming with me," I insisted, hoisting her over my shoulder and making my way out, while the guests scattered in panic and my men followed closely behind.

We were headed straight for the airport. Clarissa fought against me, hurling curses and sobbing in despair, but I remained resolute; finding her was all that mattered.

Once we boarded the plane and it ascended into the sky, her resistance continued, her voice filled with anger.

"Enough, Eve," I snapped, catching her off guard.

You've got the wrong person! My name is Clarissa, not Eve! Let me go, you've killed my husband!" she shouted, tears streaming down her face.

I felt a surge of anger, but I couldn't help but believe she was crying for that man.

"No, he is not your husband; I am. We may be divorced, but I want you back. I want you back, Eve, and your name isn't Clarissa," I replied, locking eyes with her

"I don't know who you are. Please let me go; you've mistaken me for someone else. My name is Clarissa," she said, and a chill ran through me as I bent down to meet her gaze.

"Look into my eyes and tell me you don't recognize me. Tell me, Eve, that you have no idea who I am," I shouted, and as she stared back at me, I took a step back.

At that moment, I understood she truly had no idea who I was, nor did she seem to grasp her own identity or the situation we were in. It dawned on me then; she might have lost her memories.
