"I can't believe you! No way that's true!" Dominic shouted, his frustration boiling over as he slammed his fist against the wall, his anger intensifying as he sought answers.

What had happened to his wife?

Who was Clarissa? Was she somehow connected to Eve?

These thoughts raced through his mind as he stared at his friend, his eyes filled with anguish.

"Take her home. I'll be back," Dominic said, storming out of the room, unable to contain his mounting frustration, he was broken to even thibjnof the fact that Clarissa wasnt his wife and that hurt more then anything he could ever imagine.

Witnessing his friend's despair, Aiden turned to his sister, gently pushing her against the wall, locking eyes with her as he spoke.

Aiden looked at Lily with concern, understanding the depth of her feelings.

"I know you despise him for what he did, but as your brother, I need to ask is that girl his ex-wife?" He could see the conflict in her eyes, knowing she was struggling to speak the truth.

"I loathe him so much that I wish for him to suffer for what he did to Eve. I pray he does! He still keeps that woman around him and..." Lily's voice trailed off as Aiden quickly covered her mouth, glancing around to ensure the men in the room were leaving.

Once they were alone, he turned to face her, fully aware of her hatred for Dominic. He couldn't bear the thought of her getting hurt because of her reckless words.

"Sister, do you really want to put yourself in danger? You need to be careful about how you speak to the don," he warned, his tone sharp as she lowered her gaze in shame.

"I'm going to ask you one more time... is she truly the Don's wife?" Aiden pressed, searching her eyes for honesty. But Lily looked away, avoiding his gaze.

"No, she isn't," she finally replied, and he let out a heavy sigh, realizing it was going to be a challenging day ahead.
