The days had passed swiftly since the practice match between Nekoma and Karasuno. Life had returned to its usual rhythm, with Y/N immersed in her duties as the Karasuno manager alongside Shimizu. They had settled into a routine, managing equipment, organizing practice schedules, and supporting the team through their rigorous training sessions.

One afternoon, as Y/N was busy sorting through some equipment, her phone buzzed with a new message. She glanced at the screen and saw a text from Kuroo.

Kuroo: Hey Y/N, what are you up to?

Y/N, maintaining her cool demeanor, tapped out a quick response while continuing her work.

Y/N: Just managing things at practice. What's up?

As she sent the message, the Karasuno team noticed the exchange. Hinata, ever curious, peered over at Y/N's phone screen. "Hey, who are you texting?" he asked, nudging Y/N.

Y/N glanced up, her expression nonchalant. "It's Kuroo from Nekoma. He's just asking what I'm doing."

The reaction from the team was immediate and dramatic. Tanaka's eyes widened, and Nishinoya let out an exaggerated gasp. "Kuroo? The captain of Nekoma?"

"Yeah, him," Y/N replied, her tone calm and unruffled.

The team's excitement was palpable, and the teasing began. "Ooh, Y/N's got a text from Kuroo!" Hinata exclaimed with a grin.

"Is there something going on?" Yamaguchi added, trying to suppress a smile.

Despite the playful banter, Y/N remained unfazed. "It's just a casual conversation," she said, focusing on her duties.

Shimizu, noticing the commotion, stepped in. "Let's not get too carried away. We still have practice to focus on."

Coach Ukai, observing the situation from a distance, decided it was time to get the team back on track. "Alright, everyone, back to practice!"

As the team dispersed to their respective drills, Y/N typed a quick reply to Kuroo.

Y/N: Just managing practice. We have a session right now. How about you?

While waiting for Kuroo's response, Y/N returned to her duties. Her thoughts wandered, wondering why Kuroo had suddenly reached out. It wasn't often that he would contact her without a specific reason. She mused about their previous conversation and found herself intrigued by the genuine interest he had shown.
