The months rolled by, filled with visits and cherished moments between Kuroo and Y/N. They found themselves falling deeper for each other, whether they were exploring Miyagi or navigating the bustling streets of Tokyo. Their relationship was like a blossoming flower, growing stronger with every shared experience. Despite this, Kuroo still hadn't managed to confess his feelings outright. It seemed he was waiting for the perfect moment, which never quite seemed to come.

The day of Nekoma's graduation arrived, and it was a bittersweet occasion. Kuroo, Yaku, and Kai were preparing to say their goodbyes to high school volleyball. After the ceremony, the team gathered for one last time, ready to capture memories with a group photo and share a few final conversations.

Kenma, always the observant one, decided it was time to push Kuroo out of his comfort zone. He fixed his gaze on Kuroo and said bluntly, "You know, you should really confess to Y/N. You haven't done it yet."

The other team members looked at Kuroo with a mix of exasperation and encouragement. Yaku crossed his arms, raising an eyebrow. "Seriously, Kuroo? It's getting embarrassing. How long are you going to put this off?"

Kai chimed in, nodding vigorously. "Just do it already. It's not like you're terrible at this or anything."

Kuroo squirmed under the combined pressure of his teammates' expectations. "I'm working on it," he mumbled, though it was clear he was more than a little intimidated.

Suddenly, a familiar figure appeared at the entrance of the gym, causing a collective gasp. It was Y/N, and she looked as though she had sprinted the entire way to Nekoma. Her hair was a bit messy from the run, and she was catching her breath, but her eyes shone with determination.

The entire team went silent in surprise. Kuroo, holding a bouquet of flowers from the graduation ceremony, looked at Y/N with wide eyes. "Y/N? What are you doing here?"

Y/N finally caught her breath and looked at him with a serious expression. "Kuroo, there's something I need to say." She took a deep breath, bracing herself. "I know you're about to continue your studies and I'll still be in school, so... I like you. Will you wait for me?"

Kuroo's eyes widened, and his face turned a shade of red that matched his bouquet. He had always assumed he would be the one making the first move. "I... I didn't think you felt the same way," he stuttered, looking flustered and slightly dazed. "But... I like you too, Y/N. I'll definitely wait for you."

The moment Kuroo embraced Y/N, the volleyball team erupted into cheers. Kenma, ever the realist, raised an eyebrow and commented, "Took you long enough, Kuroo."

As they pulled away from the hug, Kuroo couldn't help but grin. "You know, now that we're officially a couple, I was thinking of courting you properly. Dates, dinner, all that romantic stuff."

Y/N's face turned an even deeper shade of red. "You're really full of surprises, aren't you?"

Kuroo smirked playfully. "I like teasing you. It's one of my hobbies."

Y/N rolled her eyes but couldn't hide her smile. "Alright, enough with the teasing."

As the celebration continued, Y/N and Kuroo took pictures with the rest of the team. The atmosphere was joyful and filled with laughter. When it was finally time to leave, Kuroo turned to Y/N with a hopeful expression. "Hey, since you came all the way here, would you like to stay over? I mean, it's getting late, and I'd hate for you to travel back alone."

Y/N raised an eyebrow, a teasing smile forming on her lips. "Are you sure you're not just trying to get out of planning the next date?"

Kuroo's face turned an even deeper shade of red. "N-no, of course not! I just... want to spend more time with you."

Y/N laughed softly. "Alright, Kuroo. I'll stay over. But only if you promise to be a good host."

Kuroo grinned, nodding eagerly. "Deal. I'll make sure to keep up with the conversation and not just stand there looking clueless."

When they arrived at Kuroo's house, his parents greeted Y/N with warm smiles and welcoming hugs. "It's so nice to finally meet you, Y/N," Kuroo's mother said, her eyes twinkling with happiness. "Kuroo's told us so much about you."

Kuroo's father nodded in agreement. "It's great to see him so happy. You must be quite special."

Y/N smiled, feeling a bit shy but also pleased. "Thank you. I'm happy to be here."

Later, Y/N called her mother to let her know she was staying over. "Mom, I'm at Kuroo's place. Everything's fine."

Her mother's voice was filled with joy. "Oh, that's wonderful, dear! I'm so happy for both of you. Enjoy your time, and make sure to call me if you need anything!"

Back at Kuroo's place, Y/N and Kuroo settled into the living room. Kuroo's parents had prepared a delicious dinner, and they all enjoyed a relaxing evening together. As they cleaned up, Y/N couldn't help but notice how happy Kuroo's parents were.

Later, when they were alone in the living room, Kuroo turned to Y/N with a shy grin. "So, um... since we're officially a couple now, I was thinking maybe you could call me Tetsuro. It's more personal, you know?"

Y/N smiled mischievously. "Alright, Tetsuro." She said it with a playful emphasis that made Kuroo's face turn an adorable shade of crimson.

Kuroo's eyes widened, and he tried to compose himself, but the blush on his cheeks betrayed him. "Y-yeah, that's the one. I, um, kind of like it."

Y/N chuckled, finding Kuroo's reaction utterly endearing. "You're really cute when you're embarrassed, you know that?"

Kuroo couldn't help but laugh, his embarrassment turning into playful teasing. "And you're really good at making me blush. I guess I'll have to get used to this."

As they settled in for the night, the atmosphere was light and filled with warmth. Y/N and Kuroo talked about their plans for the future and their favorite moments from the past. The night was filled with laughter, and both felt a deep sense of contentment.

Kuroo looked at Y/N with a soft smile. "Thanks for coming all this way. I really appreciate it."

Y/N returned his smile with a tender gaze. "I wouldn't miss it for the world."

As they headed to bed, Y/N and Kuroo shared a final, lingering hug before saying goodnight. Kuroo lay in bed with a happy sigh, thinking about how fortunate he was to have Y/N in his life.

I really do like you, Y/N, he thought as he drifted off to sleep, and I'm looking forward to every moment we'll share together.

The future looked bright, filled with love, laughter, and many more adventures to come.
