After Atlas teleports us out. We all stay silent for a moment, just processing what we saw.... I feel tears falling from the sight of my sister's dead body. I cover my face with my hands so no one will hear me or see me. I feel someone wrap their arms around me and I lift my head to see Cyrus hugging me. 'I'm so sorry..' he whispers to me. I don't respond and I bury my head into his shoulder and let myself cry freely for awhile.
After I eventually calm down enough and stop crying, I lift my head and wipe my eyes. Cyrus looks at me with a concerned look 'feeling a little better now at least?' he asks quietly. I nod in response. He lets go of the hug and I do the same. I look around the room, to see if everyone else is okay. I see Navie, Issa and Bexie sitting down at the table, seemingly trying to process what happened, and the sight they saw. I look around and I see haruko and Atlas sitting down against a wall. Atlas with his head in his hands, seeming like he's trembling, while haruko has a arm around him, trying to comfort him. I did notice it looked like atlas was having a PTSD flashback back there, so I assume that spiraled out of control and into a panic attack. I don't want to go over there and overwhelm him further. I decide to leave him be with haruko, and I walk over to the table and sit down, Cyrus following me.
We all sit in silence for a moment before I hear Navie speak up. 'so...what now? I mean... We didn't have enough time to make sure Andy is okay, right..?' she asks. Issa shakes his head, speaking in her normal, stern tone, tho sounding more empathetic now. 'i don't know... I mean, considering what they did to Amelia... I wouldn't put it past them to do the same thing to Andy' she says. We all stay silent after that. The only sounds being Atlas's shaky breaths and the wind blowing outside. Eventually, Bexie speaks up. 'so we are just at a dead end? I mean... We don't know if he's dead or alive.' she says. 'and... Saying he is, what do we do now? I mean, the extermination is sure to happen soon.' she says. Issa sighs and rubs her forehead in frustration. 'i dont know, we can't just assume they will put the extermination on hold because of this situation.' she says. After a moment of silence. Atlas speaks up in a shaky voice, like hes still trying to calm himself down. 'i have an idea..' we all look at him. 'what is it?' Haruko asks quietlya and softly. Atlas pauses and takes a deep breath. '...I know someone, they are a part of the Alline, they trained with me, I considered them family. They were the one to tell me about the exterminations.' he pauses. 'we both made a plan... That plan, was to fight the Alline head on.' he says, lifting his head to look at us when he says the last part. My eyes widen its the same with everyone else. 'Atlas..' Bexie starts. 'thats incredibly dangerous. There's like.. seven of us, against a whole army.' she says. Atlas sighs and stands up and speaks, trying to get us to understand. 'think about it, please. They are blood-thirsty. They won't stop when there's five worlds left, they won't stop when there's two left. If we don't at least try. Glashel will be next. I can't save every citizen with my power, it's limited. We can at least hold them back. Please.' he says. Haruko stands up beside him and frowns slightly. 'But it's really dangerous, you saw what happened when you talked with Harris for a minute. What would happen if you have to fight him?' he asks. Atlas shrugs his shoulders, his tone chances to a determined tone. 'i've always wanted to end the devil's life.'
