After that was all said to me, and after I had a good'ol cry session. Me and Bexie start to cook dinner for us all. 'Hey, Aiden..' Bexie breaks the silence, while still cooking. I perk up and look over at her. 'yeah?' I respond. She hums slightly in thought. 'can I ask you something?' she asks, curiously. I hum and nod. 'sure.' I respond. She pauses and seems hesitant to ask what shes wondering. 'i- forgive me if this is insensitive, but do you know what your going to do about the situation you've been dealt?' she asks. I pauses, I genuinely don't know how I'm meant to deal with it, but I don't know if I should just straight up tell her that, eventually I just sigh and give up. 'i don't know, I mean... I want to stay, and help. I really do, but...' I pause. 'i don't want my siblings to die cause of my choices..' I mutter quietly. She hums slightly in thought. 'do you think they will actually do it..kill them I mean.' I ask, almost dreading the answer. I know what they are capable of, and that's what scares me. She pauses but nods. 'unless we can find a way to get your siblings somewhere safe, but that involves getting into Libertad and no one but-' she pauses. I widen my eyes. 'you're saying someone can get into Libertad whenever?' I ask, in pure bewilderment. She sigh and nods. 'a boy I know can, his name's Atlas. Haruko might've mentioned him. Atlas is from Libertad. He was an Alline soldier by force. When he left he met Haruko, they are both very close friends. If not something more.' she mutters the last part under her breath. 'but... Bringing him into this will have its risks.' she says. Risks? 'what risks, exactly?' I ask. Bexie sighs. 'he was mentally and physically abused by the Alline. His time there has effected him. Bringing him into this might give him grief... But I guess, that'll be his choice...' she says. I can't help but feel sympathy for the boy, I don't want to ask what happened. I know it's not her story to tell, so I ask something else. 'could we possibly ask him..?' I ask. She sighs. 'we need to get everyone else's opinion into this. Definitely Haruko's anyways. Cause he knows what can set him off.' she sighs. 'We can ask during dinner. C'mon, let's finish cooking.' she says, quickly changing the subject. I nod and continue to help her with cooking.7:30PM
After a few minutes of cooking, we both finish and set all the plates down on the table and sit down at the table with everyone else. We all start to eat in silence. The question still eating away at my brain, but I don't want to bring it up. Bexie notice my inner turmoil, and speaks up. 'so... I had an idea earlier' she says. Addressing Issa, Cyrus, Navie, Haruko and me. Issa nods. 'this could be anything, but go on.' she says. Bexie pauses and sighs. ' y'know that kid? Atlas, right? He can bring people to different worlds. Do you think he'd be of use in this?' she asks. I notice Haruko almost choke on air from that. 'We can't bring him into this.' he says quickly. I look at him. 'but why? Surely the more the merrier?' I ask. Haruko pauses and sighs. 'stuff about the Alline, it can send him into panic attacks. Depending what it is. He hides his panic attacks, all the time. It would be completely unsafe.' he says seriously. Issa seems to be thinking of this seriously. 'Haruko, I appreciate your concern for him, but surely this should be his decision... I mean, I know what the Alline did to him. And how it effected him. But Aiden has a point. In this situation it's kill or be killed. We need as much help as we can get.' Haruko sighs. 'i know... But he's gone through so much, he has a live now, one that doesn't involve him using his powers... One that he's happy with. It would be brutal to ruin that for him.' he says. 'well if the Alline is coming for this world next he's not going to have a live to life.' she says bluntly. Haruko just sighs and stays quiet, obviously still against it. Issa turns to me and Bexie. 'its settled, tomorrow morning we will go to him and ask him for his assistance.' I nod and so does Bexie. 'so...I feel like I've missed something-' Cyrus says. 'uh, who is this person we are asking for help?' he asks. Bexie sighs 'his name is Atlas, Atlas Earhart. He was a Alline soldier for many years. He ran away from them, and found out he could transport to different worlds. Since then he's been living in Glashel, as a safe place. He rarely goes to Libertad anymore.' she says. Cyrus and Navie, who were clueless before, both nod. 'ah okay. That makes sense.' he says. Navie hums before she speaks up 'how can he travel worlds?' she asks. Haruko sighs and speaks up. 'he doesnt know, it's something he can only do when he thinks of certain things. And he only usually does it in moments of panic. He has other abilities, he can create illusions, make this appear and disappear. But that's something he rarely uses.' he explains. We all nod, and just continue to eat. I can't help but let me thoughts wonder... What did Bexie mean by "soldier by force? It sounded very unsettling and concerning.. but I know it's not their story to tell so I stay quiet.
