After walking through fields and fields, we finally make it back on the path. Haruko's episode has finished so he's back to just walking and looking around without skipping or singing like a kid which was really sweet. And the sight of Aiden joining may have made me blush but shush
'i swear on everything unholy if we don't get there soon my feet will give on' Aiden complains in a whiny tone, like a needy puppy. I smile and chuckle 'aww are your little feet getting tired?' I ask teasingly. Aiden shoots me a look and smiles 'maybe just a bit, just a tad!' he says. I smile and chuckle. 'we should be there soon, we are back on a path so that's a good sign I presume.' I say, and he smiles and nods in response. We continue to walk in silence for a bit before he speaks up. 'hey um.. can I ask something?' he says, sounding rather nervous. I hum in response and nod. 'sure go ahead.' I say. He pauses and takes a deep breath 'well..um...' he sighs before speaking. 'this'll sound weird but do you like... Do you like boys? Like are you gay or bi or something like that' he says rather quickly. I get slightly shocked but smile and nod. 'yeah, I'm gay.' I say and I see a hint of relief on his face. 'that's good to know.' he responds and I smile and nod. 'what about you? What's your sexuality?' I ask. He smiles and nods 'im Bisexual.' I hum and nod in response. 'I'll keep that in mind.' I say and he smiles and nods. He then decides to go up ahead and start to talk to haruko about something. He seems happy about it tho.
Navie walks over to me and gives me a playful shove. 'you've got a crush~' she says in a sing-song tone. I pause and clear my throat. 'i- what gave you that idea?' I ask, trying to sound normal. Navie chuckles 'oh Cyrus please, I've known ya since we were kids, you can't hide it from me.' she says with a smirk. 'you have a crush on Aiden~' I hit her arm to get her to be quiet. 'shut it he might hear you!' I hiss. She smiles and chuckles. 'oh please, you act like he doesn't also like you. It's hella obvious.' she says. I sigh and cross my arms 'yeah, yeah, can we drop it now?' I ask, in an annoyed tone. She smiles and hums slightly 'fine, fine.' she says. We walk in silence for a bit until she speaks up. 'you don't believe him when he said he got those many scars on his arms from falling, did you?' she asks, in more of a hushed whisper so he doesn't hear. I shake my head. 'no, I'm not an idiot.' I whisper back. 'they look like they are self inflicted.' I whisper and she nods. 'Why do you think he does it?..' she asks. I shrug my shoulders 'I'm not sure... I've noticed somethings about him tho' I say, she hums and continues to whisper. 'like what exactly?' she asks. 'well, he doesn't seem to like loud noises, or at least he flinches at them. And he also seems to hide his emotions.. I noticed when we first saw him, he was panicking on the inside but hiding it for others sake.' I whisper back, and she frowns. 'damn... That's not the best of him to do..' she whispers. I shake my head in response.
Soon enough we see the city come into view and Aiden looks up at it in awe. Me and Navie approach him and Haruko. I chuckle at Aiden's expression. 'shocked?' I ask him. He nods 'more like amazed. the cities in Libertad look nothing like this.' he responds. Haruko smiles. 'Lumike is one of the richest cities in all of Glashel! It's a part of section 2' he says. Aiden looks at him confused. 'section 2? What's that?' he asks. Haruko smiles. 'Glashel is divided into sections by the wealth of the cities or towns. There are 10 in total, one being the richest, and ten being the poorest.' he says. Aiden nods. 'so it's like...some hunger games shit then?' Aiden asks and Haruko smiles and laughs slightly. 'yeah, you can go with that.' Aiden smiles and nods in response and looks back at the city towering over us. We walk to the gates of the city and walk in and Haruko goes in front of all of us and smiles
