'Does ANYONE have a plan? Or are we going into this blind?' Aiden asks, after we all agreed on trying to fight back against the Alline, we've all been trying to brainstorm ideas, to no success. I sigh and put my head in my hands 'this is hopeless..' I say, tho it sounds a bit muffled from my head being covered from my hands. Aiden sighs ' it's not hopeless! We just- need to think more.' he says. He is the only reason I haven't given up, I can't say the same for Navie and Haruko tho.. they both seem pretty idea-blocked and seem ready to quit. All of a sudden Aiden widens his eyes a small gasp escapes his eyes-signalling he has an idea. 'WAIT-' he says before getting his phone out of his pocket and checking something. That definitely catches my attention. I look over his shoulder to see what he's looking at. Soon enough he finds whatever he was looking for and puts his phone down. 'i have an idea!' he basically screams in excitement. 'god he looks so cute when he's excited...' I quickly shake those thoughts away. 'what's your idea?' Navie asks. Aiden takes a deep breath 'well- from what I gathered the Alline attack city by city. So what if we are able to get a team of people to go to each city and defend it as it's being attacked.' he says. I pause 'i mean it's not a bad idea... But one problem' I think to myself. I clear my throat before speaking 'where on gods green earth are we going to find the people to help us? No one will listen.' I say, and that definitely bursts Aiden's bubble. His smile fades and he pauses and lets out a frustrated huff. 'well- can't we at least try?' he asks. 'i get people would see it as a death wish. But surely there's at least some who wouldn't.' he says. I was about to argue before Haruko perks up. 'i know people who might agree!' he says, and Aiden's smile comes right back to his pretty little face 'NO NOT PRETTY, WHAT' I think to myself. 'Who??' Aiden asks. Haruko smiles 'theres a town not far from here. People there have been preparing for the day the Alline want to strike here. Surely they would help us and also help come up with a plan in the first place.' Haruko says. Aiden smiles and claps his hands together slightly. 'Wonderful! We should start going there then!' he says cheerfully. I can't help but smile and chuckle quietly at his enthusiasm. 'god.. he is ever so cute' I think to myself. Navie and Haruko both nod in agreement. 'we can start heading there now. It might take a while however. Like a four hour walk?' navie says, and Aiden freezes. I just quietly chuckle at his frozen expression. Soon enough he comes back to his senses and smiles and nods. 'thats fine! That means we should start heading there now.' he says. Navie, Haruko and I all smile and nod and stand up, and Aiden follows suit.
1:45PM
After preparing stuff for our four hour walk, such as drinks, food. Haruko is even bringing sleeping bags in case, for some reason.. we start to head off in the direction of the city. We leave Haruko's house and start to walk down the street. I look over in Aiden's direction and it looks like he's battling inner demons. I get slightly concerned and tap his shoulder. 'Aiden, you alright?' I ask, my tone full of concern. He seems to snap out of his thoughts and he smiles tho it looks forced. 'yeah I'm fine! Don't worry.' he responds. But I don't believe that for a second. I sigh and shake my head 'your worried, aren't you? Your worried about Amelia and Andy.' I say, more of a statement then anything. Aiden freezes up slightly but sighs and nods. 'yeah.. it's just.. what if they hate me now? You heard Amelia, she sounded ready to rip my head off..' he says, I notice a but on vulnerability in his tone. I frowns slightly and wrap my arm around his shoulders and speak softly 'hey... It's okay, she was just angry, same goes with Andy. Okay?' he just nods in response and leans into me slightly as we walk. I noticed Navie and Haruko giving us knowing looks and I just flip them off back, they both chuckle in response and continue to walk. 'god I hope this doesn't lead to a dead end... For all our sakes' I think to myself.
