LIBERTAD-2140 June 25th

'GET YOUR LAZY ASSES UP!' Harris yells at the trainees. Atlas jumps awake and sits up in the damp sleeping bag he was given as a bed. 10 years have gone by since he was taken in, and he wishes he said he was fine alone those ten years ago. At least he would most likely be dead, here they don't let you die. He stands up and stretches his back and kicks his friend, Alexi's sleeping bag lightly. 'c'mon Alexi. Up ya get.' he says. Alexi grumbles slightly and sits up and rubs his eyes. 'will there be a day they won't wake us up at 5am?' Alexi mutters, still half asleep. Atlas hums and grabs his jacket and puts it on and tosses Alexi his. 'When He shuts his mouth, maybe.' Atlas responds. Since he was taken in by the Alline. He only refers to Harris by the word 'He'. Alexi stands up and puts on his jacket as well. The jackets have the Alline symbol, a Star with a circle surrounding it. They were given the jackets as a badge of "Pride", that only a certain amount of people in Libertad would be able to get them. Atlas has contemplated throwing it in the trash, many times. With them both ready, they leave their pod room, most pods had 3-4 people, so theirs only have two people was weird, but they didn't question it. They both walk to the main hall, passing by many spies, detectives and soldiers, who all work for the Alline, but also look like they want to die, so that must be something normal-and Atlas knows it is. They both get to the main hall and line up with all the other trainee soldiers. As soon as they do, Harris comes into the room and walks over to the line. He stands in front of it. 'Future soilders.' he starts. 'There is a new recruit today, he's training to be a spy, but he will be in pod 4.6 with Atlas Carter, and Alexi Miks.' he glaces at Atlas and Alexi while saying that. 'Any complaints?' he asks them. 'No, sir' they both mutter. It's no secret that Atlas is terrified of Harris, while Alexi is more frustrated with him. Harris lets a wicked smirk spread across his face as he nods. 'good.' he gestures for them to follow. 'come along then, I'll introduce you to them.' with that, he started walking away, with Atlas and Alexi following. He leads them outside of the main hall, and outside the whole building. There, they are met with a little boy, who looks scared shitless. Atlas looks at him with a hint of concern and basically runs over to him and crouches down in front of him. 'hey little one.' he says softly. The little boy looks at him, still trembling. Atlas frowns slightly why couldn't they find recruits the normal way and not with kidnapping?! Atlas carefully reaches his hand out and holds the little kids hand 'whats your name, kiddo?' he asks softly. He nods. 'A-Asher. My name's Asher.' he says. Atlas smiles softly-being able to tell the little kid was scared.  'Nice to meet you, Asher. I'm Atlas, this is Alexi.' he says, gesturing to Alexi who is staring daggers at Harris before walking over to them and kneeling down beside Atlas with a soft look on his face to the kid. Asher nods slightly and looks around. 'w-where am I..?' he asks in a quiet mutter. Atlas pauses slightly how was he meant to tell this kid that he was kidnapped and is now going to be used?!? Atlas smiles slightly and pats the kids head. 'your new home..'

After a while say if hard work from Alexi and Atlas, to setting up the pod for Asher, to training, then getting yelled at by Harris for being 'Too soft', they finally return to their pod room. Atlas sits down on his sleeping bag and so does Alexi. Only a few minutes after, Asher walks in. Atlas looks at him and smiles warmly and waves. 'come here, Ashe' he says softly, already getting a nickname for him. Asher looks at him and nods and walks over to him and sits down. Atlas smiles. 'so.. what was your life before you came here?' he asks softly, curious as to why such a young kid was brought to the A.M.B (Alline military base) Ashe pauses for a moment and thinks. 'well... I grew up in Limne, a city west from here. Grew up with two mom's and a older sister.' he shrugs his shoulders. 'thats it, really.' he finishes. Atlas hums slightly, so his parents are still alive? Why was he brought here then? He wants to ask, but chooses not to. He smiles softly and nods. 'thats very sweet...' Atlas says. Ashe smiles slightly. 'what about you?' he asks Atlas. 'what was your live like before you came here?' he asks. Atlas pauses for a moment, that question bringing back bad memories. He quickly shakes his head and smiles softly. 'thats a story for another time.. for now let's get you to sleep, mh?' he says. Ashe tilts his head slightly and looks at Alexi-who has a look of 'dont ask anything' Ashe just nods. 'okay..' he lays down in his sleeping back beside Atlas's and closes his eyes to sleep. Atlas smiles softly and pats his head. 'good night kiddo..' soon enough Ashe falls fast asleep. Atlas lets a small, genuine smile appear on his face, as he knows this will be the last peaceful sleep he will have in a while...
