As we walk into the city I look around in awe. It's so much bigger than I expected, the architecture looks very Victorian, with loads of houses going down each street for miles, and people walking around, going about their normal lives. Navie notices my starstruck expression and elbows me slightly and smiles 'it's like you've never seen a city.' he says jokingly. I look at her and smile 'i've never seen one this big before! It's humongous!' I say. Navie smiles and chuckles slightly. 'fair, fair, c'mon, we can have a look around before we go find the people Haruko was on about.' she says and I smile and nod. She smiles and starts to walk and I follow alongside her with Haruko and Cyrus behind us. As we walk I can't help but look around at the buildings. I'm not really paying attention to where I'm walking and I accidentally bump into someone and I quickly look at them. 'oh Jesus, I'm so sorry!' I say and offer them a hand to help them up, they seem to be an older woman. She smiles and takes my hand and stands up. 'it's not a problem, dear. Don't worry about it.' she says. I smile and scratch the back of my head nervously. 'yeah... Still I'm sorry tho, I should pay attention to where I'm walking.' I say with a nervous chuckle. The woman smiles softly and pats my head,'Dont worry, darling. no need to feel guilty for a little mistake.' she says and I smile and nod. She smiles softly before walking off. I sigh and quickly start to follow Navie, Haruko and Cyrus who luckily, didn't seem to notice the fact I just nearly trampled an old lady.
6:10PM
'so uh- who are the people we are meeting that might be able to help with the extermination?' I ask as we continue to walk. Cyrus hums slightly. 'they're a group of rebels who have been preparing for the destruction for years. They should be able to help us- well we should be able to help them.' he says and I nod. We all walk to this big, Victorian style house, Haruko goes up to the door and knocks. After waiting a moment we hear shuffling from inside and a woman opens the door. She has short brown hair and bright crimson eyes. She looks at all of us, but when she looks at Haruko she smiles softly. 'hello, haru. Do you need anything?' she asks. He smiles 'hello, Ms! Can we come in please?' he asks. She hums and looks at me, Cyrus and Navie as if studying us. After a moment or so she sighs and nods and opens the door and steps back to let us in. Haruko smiles and walks in and the three of us follow behind him. When we all get inside she closes the door and crosses her arms and leans against the door. 'So, Haruko. Care to explain to me why you are here? And brought three random people?' she asks rasing and eyebrow. Haruko sighs and scratches the back of his neck. 'uh- well the reason we are here, is that we want to help with the rebellion. We know what world is next.' he pauses and seems realize that he's gonna have to tell him that Glashel is next and he looks ready to die. He sighs 'This world is next, and we are trying to come up with a plan to stop them.' he says. The woman quickly goes from calm and composed to shocked and horrified. She takes a moment to compose herself before speaking. 'And you four plan to help to try to stop it?' she asks, he nods. 'we plan to do our best.' he says, determination filling his tone. The woman looks at me, Cyrus and Navie. 'what are their names anyways?' she asks, looking back at Haruko. Haruko smiles. 'there my friends. Cyrus, Aiden and Navie.' friend... I'm a friend? Her expression softens and looks at us and smiles. 'nice to meet you all, I'm Issa.' I smile and bow my head in response. Navie and Cyrus soon follow suit. Issa smiles. 'c'mon, I'll show you all around.' she says and starts to walk further into the house and gestures for us to follow. Haruko follows and is three follow behind him. Issa leads us down a flight of stairs into a basement and starts to walk towards the door. 'everyone here are either ex-Alline soldiers, or people who the Alline have hurt in someway.' she explains. 'they are all different in a way. Thats why they got cast aside from them, that's how the ex-Alline soldiers came to be here.' I've heard tales of people who are different get casted away but to hear it's actually true, needless to say its a lot different hearing it in person, from someone who has experienced it.
She leads us to a big door and opens it. Inside there's a few people, whom I'm assuming are a part of the rebellion. Issa walks to the front of the room, with us still following. Issa turns to face them all. 'everyone, we have new recruits.' she announces. Everyone else in the room looks at her. 'they plan to help us with the rebellion.' she continues. 'their names are Haruko, Cyrus, Navie and Aiden.' she gestures to us as she's introducing us. A woman smiles softly and speaks up, he voice is very calming, like a lullaby. 'I'm Bexie. Your all very welcome here.' she says. I give a slight smile and nod. I'm not used to so many people having the attention on me, even if more people are involved. It's making me a bit nervous but I hide it. Bexie looks at me and raises an eyebrow. 'say... Pardon me if I'm wrong, but you're not from Glashel.. are you?' 'SHIT WHAT HOW DID SHE KNOW?!?' I think to myself. I tense up at that question and glance at Cyrus who also seems shocked. I look back at her. 'i-...no.. no I'm not.' I respond. Her expression softens slightly. 'dont be nervous, dear. Most of us here aren't.' she says. That helps calm me down slightly but I'm still in edge. I smile slightly and nod. She smiles softly 'your from Libertad, right? I can tell.' she says calmly, like she didn't just read what world I hail from. I nod. 'yes..that's right.' I respond. She smiles and nods. 'so am I, and most people here. May I ask what your last name is? We may know you and or your parents.' she pauses. 'and I am nosy so..' she says and I give a weak chuckle to that. 'its fine... My last name is Whitlock, my parents never did anything like- revolutionary so I'd be shocked if you heard of them.' I say. She smiles and chuckles and nods. 'just making sure.' she says, I smile and nod. Issa looks at me and smiles before looking back at Bexie. 'bexie, could you show them to where they are going to be staying?' she asks politely. Bexie smiles and nods and stands up. 'of course. Follow me, dears.' she gestures for us to follow. Haruko, Cyrus, Navie and I follow her as she leads us out of the basement.
