As I lay on my back, staring at the ceiling, tears kept falling. I felt completely helpless like I was drowning in sadness.
The memories of that night weighed heavy on me, and all I could do was cry, feeling lost and alone.

"Hurry up and get dressed, the doctor is here, and we need to do the check-up soon."
"IVF will take about two weeks, involving hormone injections, monitoring, and several procedures. We'll begin as soon as you're ready." saad ng doctor sa kasama kong baliw na wagas kung makangiti ngayon.
"I'm eager to get started right away."
"But who will carry the baby?" Tanong ng doctor dito sa kanya.
