N I T I K A
Yeh aleena ko bhi na kuch kaam nahi! Kaha fasa Diya muje yaar!! Upar se avyaan idiot bhi pata nahi kaha gayab hai. I whined glancing at the poster in my hand.
I need to stick this poster on the board but my height is not sufficient. I looked around for something I can stand on.
Ah! Stool. I kept the poster aside and grabbed the stool, dragging it towards the board.
I stood on the stool, straining to reach the top of the board. My height was never sufficient for these kinds of tasks. I felt a presence behind me. Before I could turn around, a hand reached up, covering mine, and stuck the poster on the board. I spun around, my eyes meeting Avyaan's intense gaze. We were inches apart. He's really tall and as I was on the stool, our lips almost touching.
"You're so short!" He said.
I gulped, my heart racing, and quickly turned back to get down. But Avyaan wasn't done yet. He trapped me, his other hand on the board, finishing the task. I was stunned, too stunned to speak. His scent invaded my senses, and I felt myself slipping. The proximity was too much to handle.
As I lost my balance, avyaan caught me by the waist, his touch sending shivers down my spine. I was flustered, so flustered that I couldn't speak.
I couldn't meet Avyaan's gaze. I knew he could see right through me, and I didn't want to admit my feelings. But I knew I had to come up with a convincing excuse.
"What-what, leave me, you creep!" I stuttered, trying to wriggle free.
When I smacked his hand and called him a creep, it was a weak attempt to hide my true feelings. I was trying to convince myself that I didn't enjoy his touch, but my heart betrayed me. It was racing like a wild animal, and I couldn't calm it down.
Avyaan laughed, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "You look cute when you're flustered!" He patted my head, and I felt butterflies in my stomach.
"Flustered? What? No, I'm not!" I denied, looking around awkwardly.
Avyaan smirked. "Okay."
I smiled awkwardly feeling the heat rise to my cheeks.
"Ok bye!" as I tried to rush and turned he held my wrist saying "watch where you go" because I was about to bump into a girl.
I tried to leave, but my feet seemed rooted to the spot. Avyaan's hand was still on my wrist, his touch sending sparks through my body. I couldn't shake off the feeling of being trapped, of being caught in his intense gaze.
Just then, Aleena and Nishanth appeared out of nowhere, their faces mischievous grins. "Oh, look what we have here!" aleena exclaimed, her voice dripping with amusement.
Nishanth chuckled. "Avyaan's got his claws on Nitika!"
I felt my face heat up as they started teasing us. "Oh, Avyaan's finally caught his prey!"
I tried to wriggle free, but Avyaan's grip was firm. "Let me go!" I hissed, trying to sound stern.
But Aleena and Nishanth wouldn't let up. "Oh, Nitika's blushing! She's so flustered!"

RomanceThe jerk's eyes widened in disbelief. "Don't tell me she's our classmate." My eyes mirrored his shock. "Wait, what? He's our classmate?" I asked, my voice laced with disbelief. Aleena nodded. "Yes, he's Avyaan Parekh." I couldn't believe it. "Well...
