Hey lovely readers!

I know I promised to post this chapter earlier, but honestly—I got completely stuck at one scene, overthought everything, and (in true dramatic fashion) deleted the whole thing.

Yup, all of it!

But after a lot of second-guessing, I finally rewrote it from the heart—and I really hope you all love it.

Also, I originally wanted to include Nitika and Avyaan’s wedding in this final chapter, but since they met again at a friend’s wedding, adding another wedding right after felt too repetitive.

So instead, I decided to give you a peek into their life a year after marriage—a sweet, ordinary day full of love.

So please please don’t be mad at me!

The wedding rituals had ended, Bella and Karan had taken their final rounds around the sacred fire, and now stood hand-in-hand, receiving blessings and hugs from guests one by one.

Nitika stood to the side with Aleena, and a few others, watching their best friend become a bride. Her heart swelled with joy-and a soft ache she couldn't quite describe.

Bella spotted them through the crowd and made a beeline over, her bridal lehenga swishing with every step.

"You're still not crying?" Bella teased, eyes glittering with emotion. "I thought I'd at least get some tears out of you by now."

Nitika laughed, reaching out to fix a strand of Bella's hair that had come loose. "You almost had me during your vows. Almost."

Bella smiled, pulling her into a tight hug. "Thank you. For being here. For helping. For everything."

Aleena chimed in, "Group hug or it doesn't count!"

They all collapsed into a circle of laughter and arms wrapped around each other-one last huddle before the inevitable goodbyes.

"This feels like the end of something," Aleena said softly.

Nitika shook her head. "No. This is just... a chapter closing."

"And new ones beginning," Avyaan added, joining them with a smile, sliding in beside Nitika.

They stood there for a while, no one rushing to leave, just soaking it in-the kind of moment you don't realize is becoming a memory until it's already slipped into your heart.

And when it was finally time to go, there were tears, there was laughter, and there was love-woven into every goodbye, every promise to call, every "let's not wait so long next time."

The wedding was over.

࣪ ִֶָ☾.

The air was hushed, guests tucked away in their rooms, the festive chaos finally fading into a warm silence. Yet for Avyaan and Nitika, one more moment waited to be written.

Nitika walked slowly, tired, heels in hand, as she was reaching the top floor after reading Avyaan'a text.

Message had been simple:
"Come upstairs. One last thing."
