I woke up feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, the excitement of the new semester buzzing in my veins. I stretched my arms and yawned, feeling the softness of my bed. But I knew I couldn't linger there for long.

Today was the day we were heading back to college after a few days off, and I couldn't wait to start a new term.

I jumped out of bed and began getting ready, my mind racing with thoughts of what the new semester would bring. I hummed to myself as I brushed my teeth and washed my face.

As I finished getting dressed, I grabbed my bag and headed out with my friends, Bella and Aleena. We had planned to grab breakfast together before heading to college, and I was starving.

We reached the café and slid into a booth, perusing the menu with excitement.

"I'm so down for some coffee and pancakes," Aleena said.

"Same here," Bella agreed, nodding her head.

I opted for a cappuccino and a chocolate croissant, and we spent the next hour chatting and laughing over our breakfast.

As we finished our breakfast and prepared to leave the café, my phone buzzed in my pocket. I pulled it out and saw Avyaan's name flashing on the screen. I couldn't help but smile as I answered the call.

"Where are you?" Avyaan asked.

"I'll reach college in 5 minutes," I replied, glancing at my friends who were watching me with interest.

"Okay, I'm at the entrance," Avyaan said, and then ended the call without another word.

As I tucked my phone back into my pocket. Aleena and Bella were grinning at me.

"Aww, look at that!" Aleena cooed. "He's waiting for you at the entrance!"

Bella chimed in, teasing me mercilessly. "Oh, Nitika, he's missing you so much! He can't even bear to be apart from you for a few hours!"

I blushed, feeling a little self-conscious, but also secretly thrilled that Avyaan was waiting for me. "Shut up, guys," I said, laughing, as we walked out of the café and headed towards college.

As we approached the entrance, I spotted Avyaan leaning against the wall, his eyes scanning the crowd until they landed on me. He smiled, pushing off from the wall, and began walking towards me.

Aleena and Bella nudged me, whispering in unison, "He's so into you!"

I playfully hit them, feeling a little embarrassed, but also happy to see Avyaan waiting for me.

As Avyaan approached me, his eyes locked onto mine, and I felt a flutter in my chest. He smiled, and I couldn't help but smile back.

"Hey," he said, as he fell into step beside me.

"Hey," I replied, feeling a little shy, but also happy to be near him.

Aleena and Bella exchanged a knowing glance, and then tactfully excused themselves, leaving Avyaan and me to walk to our classes together.

As we walked, Avyaan asked me about my morning, and I filled him in on our breakfast plans and he listened intently.

As we reached our classroom, his phone buzzed in his pocket. He pulled it out, and glanced at the screen.

"It's Karan" He said.

I nodded, understanding. "Go ahead," I said, smiling.

Avyaan nodded, and then turned to answer the call.
