Nitika's eyes widened as they approached the giant pendulum ride, her voice trembling.
"Ye yeh yeh bhi koi ride hai?" (What kind of ride is this?)
Nishanth chuckled. "Haan, bahot maza aayega! Dar ke agar jeet jaye, toh mazaa double ho jata hai!" (Yes, it'll be a blast! If you conquer your fear, the fun doubles!)
Nitika's face contorted in distress. "Yeh koi maze leni ki cheez nahi hai, heart attack dilwane ki cheez hai! Main nahi aa sakti, please!"
(This isn't fun, it can be the reason for my heart attack! I can't do this!)
Aleena teased. "No excuses!"
Avyaan reassured. "Kuch nahi hoga!"
(Nothing will happen!)
Everyone stepped into the ride "My heartbeat is increasing!" Nitika said.
"But I did not do anything" Avyaan shrugged.
"What do you mean?"
"I m-"
The ride started.
"Shut up! Don't talk!" Nitika yelled as she closed her eyes due to fear no matter how he helped her calm down her anger on him is still simmering.
Avyaan chuckled at the expressions she made when the ride's momentum increased.
As the group descended from the pendulum ride, Nitika's anxiety lingered, her mind racing with excuses to avoid another terrifying experience.
"Kya karu? Kaise bachu main? Huh main aayi hi kyu??" Nitika thought.
(what should I do? how can I avoid this? why did I even come here?)
"Ah! Idea!" She whispered.
"Ugh! I'm feeling dizzy," she whispered, swaying slightly.
Avyaan instinctively wrapped his arms around her waist, holding her close. "Are you okay?" he asked.
Nitika's voice trembled, her acting convincing. "I'm fine...but please, I'm not going on another ride now."
Bella's brow furrowed. "Okay, okay. Do you need some water?"
Nitika shook her head. "No, just need to sit."
Karan glanced at Nitika, nodding. "Then we should head back now."
Nitika swiftly intervened, not wanting to ruin her friends' fun. "Ah, no, no, you guys can continue. I'll sit."
Aleena asked, "You sure?"
Nitika nodded with a weak smile. "Yeah, go ahead."
Avyaan announced, "I'll stay with her."
Nitika's glare flashed. "No, I don't want your company!"
Avyaan's eyes sparkled. "But I want."
His tone left no room for argument.
"You guys go and enjoy it. I'll be with her, don't worry," Avyaan reassured.
Nishanth nodded. "Call us if you need anything."
The group walked away, laughing and chattering. As they disappeared into the crowd, Nitika's eyes narrowed.
