The night slipped away, and a new day began with the cheerful chirping of birds and warm sun rays gently falling on Shehnaaz. She woke up, her mind immediately drifting to the events of the previous day. A swirl of confusion clouded her thoughts—why had Sidharth behaved like that? One moment he had pushed her away, cold and distant, and the next he had pulled her into his arms, desperately trying to explain himself, asking for her forgiveness. The contrast in his actions left her bewildered. But as she lay there, she shook her head, trying to push the thoughts aside.

Why am I even thinking about this? she told herself. He apologized for his mistake; there's no point dwelling on it.

A sense of resolve began to form within her. "I should focus on the new beginning", she thought, determined to let go of the confusion and move forward with a fresh perspective.

Shehnaaz was in a bright and cheerful mood now, the confusion from earlier slipping away. She glanced around the room, but there was no sign of Sidharth. Checking the time, her eyes widened as she saw it was already 11:00 AM. "Oh shit, Sidharth must have already left! I woke up too late, yaar," she muttered, cursing herself.

Just then, the bathroom door opened, and Sidharth stepped out, a towel wrapped around his waist, water dripping from his face. He looked like a vision—extremely hot, every inch of him radiating an irresistible allure. Sidharth's abs were to die for, perfectly toned and irresistible. Each muscle stood out clearly, making him even more attractive and hard to resist.

The sight of him sent a mischievous idea through Shehnaaz's mind

The sight of him sent a mischievous idea through Shehnaaz's mind. Feeling playful, she decided to tease him, moving towards him with slow, seductive steps. She had no idea that Sidharth, who looked so captivating, had already made a decision the night before—a decision to hurt her, to push her away. He believed he didn't deserve someone as pure as Shehnaaz, and his mind was set on making sure she would eventually leave him, even if it meant breaking both their hearts in the process.

Sidharth, who completely ignored Shehnaaz's presence, left her feeling a bit dull, but she wasn't about to give up that easily. With a playful glint in her eye, she teasingly approached him as he stood in front of the mirror, calmly applying sunscreen to his face. Determined to get his attention, Shehnaaz moved seductively, her fingers trailing sensually down his back, trying to heat up the atmosphere. But Sidharth, stubborn as ever, didn't flinch at all. He stayed focused on his task, his resolve unshaken. (Bhai, after all, Sakht launda hai humara jii.)

Shehnaaz tried again, this time attempting to move in front of Sidharth for a hug, but he remained unmoved, his expression unchanging. Frustrated, Shehnaaz finally snapped and shouted, "Kya hai?"

That was the breaking point for Sidharth. His anger erupted, and he turned on her, his voice cold and menacing as he grabbed her neck, pulling her close. "Don't you fucking shout in my house. Do you understand?" he growled, his hot breath mixing with the scent of fresh mint and a faint trace of cigarettes as it washed over her. The sudden intensity left Shehnaaz stunned, the playful mood shattered in an instant.

"Aaj office nahi ja raha hun mai. I'm working from home. Don't you fucking come in front of my face while I'm in a conference—or even when I'm free or doing nothing," Sidharth spat out, his anger boiling over. "I'll tell Rebeck to shift your bloody clothes and things to another room. So you better not show your face to me. Do you get that, Ms. Shehnaaz Kapoor?" His words were harsh, laced with extreme anger, leaving no room for misunderstanding.

Shehnaaz's head hung low as she tried to process what Sidharth had just said. "GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY ROOM." roared Sidharth again and now in a dangerous voice. The harshness of his words stung, leaving her feeling like the worst person in the world. The man she loved was treating her like a stranger, and it broke her heart.

But then she thought, Maybe it's just the work stress that's making him act this way. Trying to brush off the hurt, she decided to do something to lift his spirits. "Let's make his mood better by cooking his favorite food for lunch," she thought.

Without wasting any time, she ran straight to the kitchen and began searching for the ingredients. Beside her was Serena, the kitchen manager, who guided her on where each item was kept. Determined to bring back a sense of normalcy, Shehnaaz focused on the task at hand, hoping that a good meal might soften Sidharth's mood.

Shehnaaz prepared a delicious meal, filling the entire house with its mouthwatering aroma. The spread included Aaloo ke Paranthe with Paneer Butter Masala, Dal Makhani, and perfectly cooked medium-grained Basmati Rice. Once everything was ready, she set the table with care, laying out the food and plates. Shehnaaz served a plate for Sidharth and placed one beside it for herself, hoping that sharing a meal might help ease the tension between them. With everything in place, she instructed the maids to call Sidharth downstairs for lunch.

In addition to the savory dishes lastly, Shehnaaz also prepared a simple yet refreshing sweet dish: fruits with dahi. She carefully sliced a variety of fresh fruits and mixed them with creamy yogurt, adding a touch of honey for sweetness. The light and cooling dessert was the perfect complement to the rich meal she had prepared.

After setting it on the table alongside the main dishes, she took a step back, feeling a small sense of satisfaction. Now, all that was left was for Sidharth to come down and enjoy the meal she had lovingly made for him.

"Knock, knock," the maid tapped gently on the door. "Sir, Ma'am ne khana khane ke liye bulaya hai. Aap please aajayein, Ma'am aapka intezaar kar rahi hai," she said politely.

"Haa, thik hai, jao. Kehdo mai aaraha hun," Sidharth replied, dismissing her with a nod.The maid conveyed the message to Shehnaaz, who was waiting eagerly for him at the dining table. Minutes passed, but Sidharth didn't come downstairs. The food was getting cold, and Shehnaaz's patience was wearing thin. Irritated by his behavior, she decided to take matters into her own hands.

She picked up a plate of food and went upstairs to Sidharth's room. "Knock, knock," she tapped lightly, but there was no answer. She knocked again, but Sidharth, busy in a conference, was growing increasingly frustrated—he had specifically asked not to be disturbed during his meeting.

After what felt like the hundredth knock, Sidharth finally excused himself from the video call, postponing it for three hours later. His anger simmered as he opened the door, glaring at Shehnaaz. She entered the room and placed the plate on the table.

"Kyun nahi aaraha tu niche? Kitni der se wait kar rahi hun tera?" Shehnaaz asked, her voice calm, though her frustration was evident.

Sidharth, who was standing with his back to the door, suddenly slammed it shut with a loud bang, making Shehnaaz flinch. The intensity of his reaction took her by surprise, and the atmosphere in the room grew tense.
