It was 8:30 p.m. already, and Sidharth was nowhere to be seen. Kushal was worried about him; he had been trying to contact Sidharth for hours, but there was no trace of him. Just then, he saw Sidharth coming through the main door. Without looking at Sidharth's state, Kushal shouted at him, "Where the hell were you till now? Do you know how much I was trying to call you, contact you? Where the fuck were you?"
Kushal then calmed down, noticing Sidharth's vulnerable state. He was very weak, and Kushal didn't want to make him more worried. He further added, "Are you okay? Okay, come here, sit down. Aaja idhar baith ja. Ab bol, kya hua hai?"
Sidharth took a deep breath and started explaining everything that had happened to him that evening. He spoke of his despair and where he had been all this time. Kushal listened intently, his concern growing with each word.
"Oh, toh yeh baat hai. Par ab jo main kehne ja raha hun, shayad tujhe shock lagega. Par mujhe lagta hai ki tujhe jana hi padega," Kushal said in a serious tone.
He further spoke, "Do you know Ayaan Deol?"
Sidharth nodded and replied, "Haan, voh to hamara rival hai na? Woh 'Galaxies' company ka CEO jahan hamari company aur uski company ko merge karne ke liye ek bada offer aaya tha aur humne reply kiya tha humein sochne ka mauka chahiye. Haan, toh ab kya kiya usne? "
"Humein sochne ka mauka nahi, humein yeh deal karna hi hoga kyunki usmein bahut profit hai aur upar se agar humne yeh deal reject kar diya to hamari company bahut bada loss face karegi. And guess what, usne tujhe apni shaadi pe invite kiya hai. So, mujhe lagta hai ki yeh tere liye bahut badi opportunity hai ki tu yeh deal sign karle, aur on top of that you know right wo kisse shaddi kar raha hai?," said Kushal, sounding quite mysterious.
"Ek minute, do you realize what you are talking about? Yeh sab jo main kar raha hun, yeh itna aasan tha karna? Yeh jo itna sab kuch maine kiya, kya woh isi din ke liye tha ki main chhoti se chhoti deal sign karke apni company bech dun? You know right, usne aur uski family ne hamare sath kya kiya tha jiska anjam hum aaj tak bhugat rahe hain... and you fucking say ki main uske sath ek deal sign kar lun, are you for real?" Sidharth replied, frustrated.
"aur upar se I am Siddharth Singhania, I am one of the Asia's fucking richest person in the world. Koi mujhe ya meri company ka baal bhi baka nahin kar sakta. Us deal ka mujhpe ya meri company pe koi asar nahi padega. do you get that? and I am sure ki tujhe yeh baat pata hai already." further added Sidharth.
"Okay, wait. Enough of the crap now. Where is Mom?" Sidharth further asked Kushal.
"She is in the room, but Sidharth meri baat abhi puri nahi hui hai, mujhe..." replied Kushal.
"You know my answer. Okay, I am going there to see mom, aur ek aakhri baat I know whom Ayan Deol is going to marry.
and you know what I am going to do.So you better keep it a secret." said Sidharth in a serious tone smirking.
"Sidharth, yeh sab jo tu kar raha hai woh sahi nahi hai. Ek baar fir soch le," shouted Kushal worriedly.
"Lower your voice. Agar Maa sun lengi toh kya hoga, pata hai na? Aur tu jo bhi soch le, jo bhi kar le, jo jitna bhi koshish kar mujhe manane ki, main nahi manne wala. This is the right thing for me, and I am going to do that. Enough, no more talks," replied Sidharth angrily.
"Hey Bhagwan, sab kuch sahi karna please," Kushal murmured in a small voice.
On the other side, as soon as Sidharth entered Rita Maa's room, he heard her talking to someone on the phone.
"Yeh sab jo tu kar rahi hai, kitne paise mile hain tujhe? Haan, bol. Use ladki ki zindagi barbad karne ke liye," shouted Rita Maa in anger.
Sidharth, who listened to everything, was sure who that person was. As soon as Rita Maa saw Sidharth, she put the phone on speaker.
"Oh ho, Rita ji, kyun itni hyper ho rahi hai? Shant ho jaaiye. Main jo bhi kar rahi hoon, us ladki ke bhalai ke liye hi kar rahi hoon. Ladka to bahut hi achcha hai, usse do-teen mahine ke liye use karega phir use chhod dega. Mujhe kya? Mujhe to apne paise mil jaenge, aur fir main to gaon jakar ek do aansu bahauungi to sab log man bhi jaenge. Ha ha ha! Ab aap kuch nahi kar sakti. Jo karna tha aapne kar liya mujhe dhamka ke, ab meri baari. Kuch nahi kar sakti aap," said the other person on the phone.
It was now clear that the other person on the phone was Shehnaaz's chachi.

As mentioned in the initial chapters, Rita Maa knew something about Chachi and had kept threatening her so that Chachi wouldn't say anything to Shehnaaz anymore. Otherwise, Rita Maa would tell everything to Shehnaaz and her family.
But now, with the wedding already announced, even if Rita Maa said something to Shehnaaz about Chachi and that boy, Shehnaaz wouldn't agree at all or would think that Rita Maa wanted her son Sidharth to marry Shehnaaz, which is why she was saying all these things.
Rita maa was in great dilemma now.She knew how evil was chachi.

"Sidharth tujhe kuchh karna hi hoga tujhe pata hai na woh ladka kaisa hai tu jaanta hai na, tujhe aapni Shehnaaz ko bachana hi hoga , please Sidharth kuch kar." asked Rita Maa pleading.
"aap chinta mat kijiye maa main janta Hu mujhe kya Karna hai and I have planned it all don't worry main sab kuch theek kar dunga." Siddharth replied turning the other side and smirking so that Rita ma doesn't see him smirking .
